Well you don't have to pay for a year, I literally just upgraded to an HD box with Comcast 2 weeks ago and it's $15 total a month, $25 with the HBO package.

You could have just gotten it for 3 months to cover the show for $45. I guess if you only watch it on a PC it doesn't matter but I much prefer to watch it on a big screen tv. Plus DVR and On Demand = I can still watch them whenever. And if you do HBO you get HBOGO as well, every show they've ever had, every episode, every season, anytime you want.

That's $180 a year for a bunch of crap I would never watch. Plus I don't know anyone who pays anywhere near that little for cable or satellite.

I'd rather pay $40 for this show in HD and then have it on my hard drive to watch again any time I want.

Yup. This is obviously not the thread for you. Its one thing if someone finds something no one knows of and is blatant. You're obviously upset over something that most people on here saw multiple times, plus, you don't like what people are putting in their spoiler tags when you should just avoid them and not worry about it.

The spoiler tag use in this thread has been screwy in this thread from the start. I've seen a lot of people mention it.

But I agree, I don't belong here.

Oxymoronic. Merle's return was "televised" ad nauseum yet you're whining about people putting stuff that's already been aired in spoilers. Stop being a nincompoop.

Yeah it was a fail on my part to complain about the Merle reference. But I honestly didn't know about the promos. But now I know why some people don't watch those. Watching this show spoiler free - even without the studio sanctioned spoilers from the promos really does add to the experience. I literately have no idea what's going to happen since I've never read the comics either.

Even if you don't get cable, don't you get human contact? Virtually everyone I know watches this show now, alot of them hopped in this season on the hype train.

No one I know watches it. None of my IRL friends like horror or metal.

Yep. I got a TiVo which I use for OTA programming. But I don't save whole seasons on it. Takes up too much space (and I have a terabyte).

After the annoying mid-season 2 where nothing seemed to happen, the s2 last episodes and these past 2 from s3 have delivered the goods!! !!

Probably the Comcast Triple Play package for that price, where it's 2 cable boxes, 2 phone lines, and wireless internet.

I just have their cable deal.

Personally I would never have called Merle coming back a 'spoiler'. You don't just leave his fate up in the air like they did way back in season 1 without addressing it later. Otherwise they would have just had him die on that roof.

The Merle thing? Yeah that's on me. But why do people tag stuff that has aired? I wanna read that stuff so I click on it, then I get to the next post thinking its another unnecessary spoiler tag and it turns out to be something for the comics!
