Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

This is because for some UNKNOWN reason the show runners have PURPOSEFULLY NOT SHOWN HER BODY. It strikes me as weird to be honest.

Nah, Nicotero stated (on Talking Dead) that the zombie dragged her corpse around the corner and ate it, hence the bloody drag marks and his distended belly.

Did anyone think that the Zombie in there was Lori? :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I am sorry but zombies DO NOT drag bodies around the corner to find a better place to eat. That scene was set up to make you wonder if she is or is not around in one way shape or form, from the beginning of the scene it only started to show the belly, to the item Rick picked up off the floor, to the drag/crawl marks, to the telephone call at the end.

:rotfl

Seriously, that scene sort of made no sense to me at all. But then again, a rotary telephone appears out of nowhere and starts to ring so I'm guessing he's having delusions of grandeur.

For a second there, yea. I think Lori may actually be alive though.

The zombie couldn't have eaten her whole, and that bullet was in the ground, with no blood directly around it.

Maybe Carol came back and patched her up?

We've seen zombies snatch food out of other zombies' hands. So wrong. He most definitely would've dragged the body around the corner to find a more secluded place to eat. I'll admit it could easily make one think walker Lori had crawled around the corner, but seeing the full zombie, should've made it clear. The phone is a different story all together and completely unrelated.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Other Walkers could have taken pieces of Lori. She was already cut open. The Walkers could have had some Lori "to go."

The phone? It's just an indicator that Rick's lost a bit of his mind. He was on automated Walker killing mode for hours! The smell (many don't seem to react to the stench anymore), the gore, the sweat/blood, the exhaustion. I doubt he ate or drank anything during his spree either.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I didn't/don't read the comics, it's just my thoughts, common sense? I did wrap it in Spoiler tags though.

Well, your common sense conclusion infers a spoiler and given we've seen people that still think Lori was virginal and is now a walker, well, better to be safe than sorry. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

What was that list in the journal? People he's lost? I'm assuming he's been making a mark every day since his daughter turned.
That is exactly what I thought as well,

Does anyone else just want Andrea to die a painful death for being so blind or is it just me?

I really hope Andrea dies this season, or at least before the 8th episode, I want her dead now, Right now :monkey4

I hated Lori because she was manipulating Rick and Shane against each other. Andrea is making bad choices in men she likes but that is about it. She is nowhere near Lori levels of hate in my book.

I don't get all the Andrea hate. Because she wants to stay in a town with people, and protection and food and water, suddenly she is a bad person who should die? What has she done to inspire such hatred? I readily admit she has terrible taste in men, but maybe she was like that before the zombie apocalypse too? There are plenty of women out there who like the "bad" boys. Personally, I think she just wants to be with someone who is strong and can protect her. Think about it from her perspective for a minute. She never really had anyone in the group except for Shane. They all left her and while a part of her understands why that happened there has to be a part of her that is hurt and pissed that they did leave her behind. Why leave a seemingly safe haven like Woodbury for the unknown on the road? Like she told Michonne, she doesn't have it in her to do another 8 months like that.

Something that no one has brought up yet is Michonne and why is she so distrustful of Woodbury? One could argue that she is paranoid because she really doesn't have anything concrete to go on that Woodbury is bad. We as viewers and readers of the book know that Woodbury isn't all it seems, but how does Michonne know? :dunno

she has a Know it all Complex, she did that with Dale, and with Lori last season, Andrea acts like she knows everything and she is better than everyone. She started to do the same with Michonne now. She always has this attitude that she knows more than everyone. It is completely fine that she wants to stay with the Gov but she completely disregards the feelings of the person that kept her alive for 8 months, completely disregard for Michonne's feelings.

she needs to die soon.

It's not hard to understand. The "outside" world is her element. She is always on guard. Being in a place like Woodbury has heightened her anxiety. She has been snooping around and noticing some odd things that have only justified her paranoia about place and the people in charge.

Heh. All the death and dismemberment in this show -- people eaten alive, prisoners taking axes to the head, entire military detatchments gunned-down where they stand, kids shot with hunting rifles, women bleeding-out after a half-assed c-section, fat guys kneecapped as zombie bait ...

... and you're sad about the possum.
