God damn, I love this new show runner for The Walking Dead! Season 4 has been excellent so far, and this midseason finale was 95% accurate to the comic, ****ing finally!

My thoughts on the finale.

Extremely depressing to see Hershel die, truly brutal to watch. Glad to see Governor FINALLY bite it. Truly hated that he didn't get killed by Rick. And I was absolutely right that Rick wouldn't beat the Governor in a fist fight to all those doubting me.

I got to give Gimple credit, there was so many shots in this episode right out of the comic.

One of the best episodes ever. But each time Rick did something stupid I kept thinking about how Shane would probably have handled the Governor problem so long ago.

Yeah, Shane would have joined the governor. Problem solved indeed.

I actually let out an audible "Yeah!" when that little girl from the prison shot that Rambo Army chick between the eyes.
Guvs death was some what anti climactic.
Rick, what a vacillating wuss. Not sure if it's the character I'm beginning to dislike or the way Andrew Lincoln is playing him.
So long Hershal, you carried that show on one leg for more than a few episodes.

Rick was a wuss? You try and live to fight another day when you're pinned down. What could he have done better in your eyes?

Well ... the Governor's new girlfriend (not sure what her name is, but she played Bob Brown's wife on The Unit) is a lot quicker on the uptake than Andrea was.

Kinda hoping they make her a series regular.
