Who among us wasn't an annoying brat as a teenager? LOL I think people are forgetting that Beth is around 17, and no older than 19. And she lived a pretty sheltered life, even after things went to hell. This is youth in rebellion, and it's going to happen even in a zombie wasteland.
Carl's doing his own lashing out and no one's giving him **** about it. He's also a petulant, emotional little boy at times, and we were reminded of that in the first ep of this half of the season.

Think about yourself 5 years ago. If you're honest you can probably say, "Man, I was such an ***hole." And you'll probably say the same thing about yourself now in another 5 years. :D
I think it might've been Brian Regan who said that a long time ago, and it stuck with me.

I'm 18 and find her behavior extremely exaggerated and obnoxious.

I used to like her character, but now I realize that's because she never had any screen time. :lol

Her character is probably closer to 19 by now but she's in her late 20s in real life. Her voice is what does it for me, plus I think the age difference of her real life age to her screen age shows at times in her acting.

That does nothing to diminish my point, and doesn't really even address it. I already stated she's no older than 19. Doesn't matter she's actually nearing 30, the character she's playing is a sheltered country kid from a religious family and what she's displaying is fairly natural, at least to me.

I actually caught that during her confession scene to Daryl, the way the fire lit her face and the shadowplay gave away her age.

X2

Don't find her annoying at all. It's actually pretty realistic.

LOL@ folks who find her annoying.

I don't find her annoying as a teenager, but her voice is annoying, and her acting leaves something to be desired at times. Since she hasn't sang lately I won't bother with that. :lol

I wish AMC would stop playing those commercials with the dead smoking woman during TWD. Usually I mute the commercials, but when I don't and she starts hacking out her plea to stop smoking, I perk back up and think the show is starting again.

Also i must say, i don't know how some of you handle the commercials. I torrent the show, (don't have cable) that would definitely bring down my enjoyment somewhat. I hear they are long and frequent. It's nice when you don't gotta wait for that.

Hard to believe the season is half over, hopefully the last 4 or so are insane.

I'm pretty good at blocking them out when I'm working at something, otherwise I just ff through them, but I would love if this show was on a network and commercial free.

My wife was once again annoyed last night over the 5-minutes of show they always have at the 40-past-the-hour mark where commercials run free like rapists in a field of roofied undergrads.

We used to get 24+ minutes of a sitcom. Now, we barely get 20. When it comes to an hour-long series, 40 minutes is a bold estimate minus the ads.

There's a reason why the MUTE button on every stupid remote in the house has the text rubbed off on it.
I want to destroy, completely, the institutions of Geico and Progressive, because they seem to comprise 80% of the cancerous ads I see during most shows.

Most shows are about 42 minutes without commercials

Beth is okay. She just reminds me of every other teenager I see on a daily basis. :lol

Let alone those who do all of the above. :lol

I can think of one person who'll do thet here! :rotfl

That would have been a lot better

Are we thinking the same thing here...?
