Have you seen Feldmens attempt at venturing into music? I wasn't aware of this until recently and it is just.......special.

Given how bad his acting is, I think I'd rather get a prostate exam from Paul White (Big Show).

The situation was extremely similar, with George asking Lenny to picture the bunnies before pulling an Ol' Yeller, but outside of that, the characters were completely different. Lizzie was psychotic, whereas poor Lenny was just mentally disabled.

Was George putting him down for the same reason Carol put down Lizzie? I can see how Lenny would be dangerous, but I got the impression it was more of a mercy killing.

I looked at Carol killing Lizzie not only because she would kill more people but as well, leaving her alone by herself could be a fate worse than death. A quick shot to the head could be easier than her slowly starving to death or worse. I mean if she ran into others and tried the same thing, there's no saying that she would recieve as quick and painless a death. Hell, depending on the group, they may not even kill her at all.

Essentially, yes. He killed (Tiny or Pinky - I don't remember and am too lazy to look it up)'s wife by accident. She was screaming and in an effort to get her to be quiet, suffocates her. As a result, the rest of the ranchers were gonna hang him. So George being Lenny's friend, takes him out to the lake, makes him imagine a bunny farm, Lenny's life long wish, and puts one in the back of his head. It's actually a great book and worth the read.

That is basically what I heard. It's interesting to see how much differently the scenes unfold, just by changing the nature of one character.

it's been a while but i remember reading of mice and men, animal farm and fahrenheit 451

i'm sure there were others but a lot has happened since the mid 90's, lol

Well, in all honesty, when I first came on the board, I did it to color co-ordinate my posts with my sig and avatar. For some reason it pissed a lot of people off so I continued to do it just out of spite, even though I no longer use that particular sig anymore. My old computer ate it.

Personally, I think the '81 version with Robert Blake and Randy Quaid is better.
