it might happen, But if they cannot show the zombies up close, the zombie smashing or the zombies feeding, then whats the point?

Maybe they figure the storyline would be enough. It might depend on which channel would carry it as well. I don't watch the show for the zombie smashing. And you can edit it in a way so you know what they're doing without actually seeing it. It's no different than showing movies on TV, though I don't care for it, others might. My mother for one.

btw.......there are some saying on TWD Facebook page that they aren't going to watch it anymore because of last week's episode and shooting the young girl. I guess TWD is trying to aim this at people like them.

HT's overpriced and wouldn't dip into the line more than Merle and Jim with a pre-maimed Merle as a toy fair EX and maaaaaybe an Andrea.

How do you figure? They didn't even show her get shot and they are outraged by it. Those kind of people just shouldn't be watching the show at all. Its not for everyone and they shouldn't try to cater to everyone. Shows that do that don't last long because they are boring. Its the shows that push boundaries that are the good ones - Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Hannibal, etc None of them are warm and fuzz sitcoms. Most of them feel like a kick in the guts at times, and sometimes that's what we are looking for in a TV show

Lets remember the opening scene of the series began with Rick blowing a little girl's head off. That right there should let a viewer know what kind of show this is and if it is for them.

And come to think of it, I think ONLY little girls have been killed off on the show. It like Carl's the last boy left

But HT doesn't work logically. We never got Rorschach in the Watchmen line. We got the Comedian and Silk Spectere - the two characters that spend the least amount of screen time together. Expecting to get those few select figures from HT is pure craziness. HT is the last company I want with TWD license. Sideshow would have been perfect, but I think ThreeZero is going to be awesome.

We were talking about the edited version they want to put on TV. They probably know there are some that don't want to see certain things so they'll edit it to find another more main stream audience and regular TV. I agree with you. There are plenty of "tame" things on tv to watch.

Only figures I would want from TWD are Daryl, Rick, Michonne and a few zombies.

I can't figure how some moralistic reactionary is going to draw a line at putting a serial killer to death simply because she's a kid, but is okay with the premise of BILLIONS of other humans dying just to tell the stories of a handful of ragtag survivors.

Something I just thought of: in season 2, Daryl gave Carol a Cherokee rose to cheer her up when Sophia was lost. After they found Sophia, she saw a bed of them, and ripped them up in anger. It might add another layer for Carol and flowers.

Kind of weird since they already had a zombie girl in the very first episode and then we got to see Sophia as a zombie too.

And what about Carl getting shot... Something Tells me these people might not even watch the show but caught the buzz online about the girl getting shot in the last episode and used that to hate on the show.....

I mean seriously after what happened with Carl and Sophia how can anyone be surprised? We even thought maybe the baby was eaten too ...... It really sounds like the people complaining might not really be fans

Not meant as a putdown to AMC or the show, but I think HBO has too much artistic integrity to do something like that to GoT. I can't see something like that happening.

WHat people judge as ok and not ok is amazing to me.

On Hannibal, you can show a woman's corpse nude with the nipples cut out. This is NBC, anyone gets it. So you're ok with your kids seeing a dead twisted, bruised corpse of a woman with massive wounds where her nipples should be, that's an ok message, but a live woman's breasts with her beautiful nipples? We can't show that, what are we animals? The message to me is *** is wrong and bad but murdering and mutilating dead naked woman is fine.
