Me too. My beautiful moggie is 18 years old, so time is going to catch up with her sooner rather than later. She is still an excellent mouser/ratter. We get a few because we have chickens and the chicken feed attracts them. Last night the cat brought in a big rat for us (dead, she kills them all). She averages around one a week. Her successor has big paws to fill.

I miss her. She used to welcome me home every morning. Slept on my bed. Made fun of the dogs with me. Hung out while I smoked pot and watched me do yard work. Brought me her most prized carcasses (she was really fat, so it was a small miracle that she had the body count she did).

There are way too many birds around here already, and it's barely April. If the mice find out, we could have a problem. Plus, it's nice to have a high class mass murderer around the house, just to keep things real.
