I am not sure if there's a thread for this but this show was just amazing. I finished season 3 and can't wait to start 4. I know it seems stupid but I really wanted an Omar Little figure. I am not much of a sculptor nor painter but I trying to make one for myself. Hopefully it will come out well.

Overall, The Wire is probably my favorite series of all time! Glad you are enjoying it.

I've only got the last disc of season 5 to watch. I won't say that each season is better than the last, but each one is just as good. The most consistently great show I've ever seen, and up there with the Muppet Show as my favorite.

Yep the wire is good much slower than the shield and not as good as the shield but then no cop show is imho.

The Wire is by far my fave TV show EVER!!! Simply amazing. I watched all 5 seasons on DVD one after the other - took about 4 weeks If anyone's reading this going "The Wire? What's that?" I implore you - YOU MUST SEE THIS SHOW!

The Wire is one of the best shows I have ever seen.
Although apart from Omar, I can't see who else would make a good figure.
Omar was my favourite character, I loved the way he broke down boundaries to become one of the most original heroes of any show.

I really like the Wire, have a few seasons on dvd. One of the best shows that was on.

I always thought Omar would make a great realistic Killer Croc in a Nolan Batman.

I know Tom Waits version from Season 2 is the original, but I think Season one's version by the blind boys of Alabama is the best, next would be Season 5's by Steve Earle

I like the Tom Waits version best myself, being a fan of his for a good, long time now. Also one of my favorite musicians (though Steve Earle is up there, too).

Just saw the final episode last night. An appropriately epic end to an epic show. I didn't think I would see so much closure (in a sense) as I did there, and I was surprised that things ended as well as they did for

. Nice that we saw where everyone went next. My favorite part had to be seeing how Michael Lee ended up.

I like Deadwood, Sopranos, and Breaking Bad ever so slightly more then The Wire, but it'd be number 4 on my list of tv dramas. Great show.
