I'm not a Prime Time Players fan personally. I think they are pretty pedestrian in the ring, though supposedly the big guy is good on the mic (he hasn't had many chances to show off on regular WWE TV).
I'm thrilled that Daniel Bryan is now "the man" in the WWE, though it still seems bizarre. No one has worked harder for it, so he's certainly earned anything he's achieved. I wish WWE would get
Cesaro the hell out of his tag team and start pushing him as a legit, singles threat (something I was saying about Bryan about this time last year
). Guys like him, Bryan, and Seth Rollins are the real future of the WWE for fans of in-ring performance. Someone else pointed out to me that Cesaro would have been a better choice than Ryback as Heyman's muscle, and I agree. Providing Heyman to help sell him could pay huge dividends, since Cesaro is the real deal in the ring. Heyman helped launch Steve Austin's career this way back in the '90s. It's just not going to happen with Curtis Axel or Ryback, I'm afraid.
