This was my first time watching live WWE in many years, let alone a full event. It was damn fun to watch. Solid matches all around. Only one I barely made it through was the Cena match.

I don't remember such explicit shilling for a sponsor as HHH's entrance, but kind of cool for what it was. Still haven't seen a bunch of the show since I started late and the Network was wonky, but I like what I've seen so far. IC and world title match were both really well done. UT seemed better this year than last year.

Haven't watched mania in years (the past 10 years I haven't been into the product), but for 10 bucks on the network I couldn't resist. I went to axxess and the Jim Ross show so I got excited about mania. Really glad I watched it as it was fun overall.

The Sting - Triple H match was fun but Sting should have won, that was the only moment I absolutely hated. I was completely into that match though, I haven't gotten emotionally invested in a match since the old monday night wars so they did a great job in spite of the finish.

I fastforwarded through every match except for the Ladder match, Rollins/orton and Lesnar-Reigns. I've never seen a Rollins match until tonight, he's actually pretty good. Orton on the other hand is just as boring as I remember him being. I couldn't sit through most of the Taker match, I fastforwarded to the end as it was hard to watch Taker so gimpy.

I thought the Lesnar match was fantastic. Reigns smiling throughout was really irritating, but I thought he did a hell of a job otherwise. I would have walked away liking the guy if he just didn't act like a ****** when he was selling. Who the hell told him that was a good idea? Despite Reigns douchiness, I was also really emotionally invested in this one too.

I don't think HHH/McMahon could accept what a Sting win might symbolically represent in their mind. Like JBL (?) said, WWE wins again! Rollins is extremely good. One of the best wrestlers around, and has been for a few years. So is Cesaro who, unfortunately, WWE won't allow to succeed. Regarding the smile, I think they wanted to give Reigns something that distinguished him from Cena, who had a match very similar to this one with Lesnar at Summerslam, minus the smiling and the hard-way bleeding on the post that turned the tide of the match in Reigns' favor.

Yeah, both Orton and Lesnar can complain that they deserve a match with Rollins after last night, and maybe even Reigns can complain that he didn't get a fair shot.

there is a lot of storylines that could come out of this. just as long as WWE doesnt mess it up

man, after last night's show, the ball's really in their court on how good they can make things but I fully expect 52 more weeks of mundane stuff to cultivate in another good WM next year. We've been down this road too many times recently to think otherwise.

Sounds like it was a good event!

Sting losing is BS unless a strong story comes out of it and Sting beats HHH. I hate this whole ego/powertrip "WWE is better than WCW" rollercoaster they've been playing for YEARS. And Triple H is the biggest player of this and CONSTANTLY has to prove he's better by beating everyone. He loves burying WCW superstars. Triple H needs to put his f'n ego aside and quit winning matches that are of NO significance for him and he keeps sh***ing on wrestlers like CM Punk, etc. Sting should've won that match.

Seth Rollins is probably the "best" out of the newer guys, but he doesn't deserve to be WWE Champion. I'm an old school fan who believes you have to work your way up through the ranks and really prove yourself. The Intercontinental Belt is the best "title" to determine whether people would be successful as World Champion...look at Legends like Bret Hart, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, etc. and you'll see they ALL had strong runs with the IC title before moving up to the World Title.

Yes, the Money in the Bank briefcase is a genius idea and a good curve-ball, but I'm sorry, Rollins is "not" ready. He's more ready than Reigns, but the WWE mentality nowadays is one where the World title is "instant credibility", yet they overlook how the Title FAILED on guys like The Miz, Del Rio, Jack Swagger, etc. All are failed World Champs and some aren't even with the company anymore.

Vince and Triple H's egos are just out of control. Makes me think Vince is getting in his final sick jollies before selling the company off as Sting losing made absolutely no sense outside of proving yet again that the WWF is superior to WCW. He really could have built up Sting with a win here, but they wanted to grind that ax one more time. It makes no sense because you would think they would want to build WCW up now that they own the library. Sting shouldn't have trusted these guys.

JBL was so irritating on commentary, I never could stand that guy. I get the feeling that some of his lines that buried Sting were fed from the boss himself.

I went to see Jim Ross speak and Samoa Joe was there, the guy is so talented but the WWE is going to screw him over too, that company is so frustrating to follow.

It's gonna happen, just like they did with Taz 15 years ago.

I don't blame Vince or HHH. I blame Sting, because it's his fault. He sold out for a paycheck. It's not like he didn't know the outcome of the match or WWE'S agenda, so **** Sting for letting WWE bury WCW again. He always said that he didn't want to wrestle in WWE because they didn't respect WCW guys, and 15 years later, he finally took the paycheck and a big loss in his debut match at WM. For the record, he's my favorite wrestler of all time, but I lost a lot of respect for the guy for letting WWE crap on WCW and HIM, as the face of that company :slap

Rollins is the best thing right now as far as new and works in the wwe . Swagger , Miz even Rio never shinned in the spot light like this guy does . He's gotta young Shawn Micheals way about him .... And his matches r great . And no Newbie in yrs is as good on the Mic . I feel Orton and Roman struggle against him on the Mic . His Heel character is the best in yrs too only next to Wyatt . I could see him being around and even be more popular .

Don't care much for his security
Dunno if he deserves to be champ
Dunno who does ...
But he will represent every time I turn Raw on . He will be there talking crap and even competing . No ones gonna wonder where the champ is .

Though
Would love to see Rollins vs Lesnar . Lol

Rollins is the perfect dink that drives you nuts watching him. That's what makes a good heel. And that's why I always root for the bad guy!

I don't know if Rollins is "ready" to be a huge star on the order of a Cena or Rock, but I think he deserves it more than 90% of the roster. He's got nearly everything you could ask for--mic skills, top notch in-ring skills, and a good look I guess. He's really smart, and plays a terrific bad guy. I don't think he connects with the audience on that gut level that the biggest stars do, but the vast majority of guys don't. I'm thinking of Junkyard Dog for some reason, who was the opposite--he didn't have the look, or great in-ring skills, or even great mic abilities, but he connected with the audience on a deep level, particularly little kids, and that kept him in the limelight for years. Cena kinda has both, even though "smart marks" hate him. Brock has no mic skills, but has everything else, and has Heyman, so he doesn't need to talk.

I'm happy Rollins won the title, but he feels like a transitional champ, just to keep it off of Cena, Lesnar, and Bryan. Reigns was not ready yet, and may never be, so they made the right call keeping it off of him IMO.

It was a really good PPV IMO. The Cena/Rusev match was a snoozer because I knew Cena would win and I couldn't care less.

The RKO orton put on Rollins mid air was awesome.

Taker looked great.

The Lesnar/Reigns was great and loved the Rollins steal.

I may keep the network past this month now.
