There's rumor Storm might be on his way back to WWE/NXT because he asked for his TNA release and got it.
While getting all this classic TNA talent like Styles, Roode, Samoa Joe, etc. is great...I'm concerned about when they hit the main WWE roster. Something AJ Style is kind of hitting right now. Often they are "mis-used" because the WWE also HEAVILY favors their own self-made superstars over the established ones. This is suggested why there was some bias towards CM Punk because he was well-known for being a mega-popular indy wrestler prior to coming to WWE. Knowing that Roode, Styles, Aries, etc. have that TNA background can somewhat work against them when they hit the main WWE roster because McMahon, Dunn and their cronies are well-known to disfavor stars who built themselves elsewhere.
Roode is a mega-talent that can really become extremely popular in the WWE on the main roster...but I'm worried that WWE creative is going to F' him over. It's pretty clear he's going to move up in NXT and probably end up challenging Nakamura for the title. The fans are really behind him.
I'm a late-80's/90's/Attitude Era/nWo wrestling fan, so I'm very bias to that timeline (especially Attitude Era) when wrestling was "good" and EVERYONE had an Austin, Rock, DX or nWo shirt on. Unfortunately the PG Era has pushed a lot of us away... I think Triple H recognizes this and that's why NXT has been so successful..that's "his" playground and clearly shows he knows what he's doing. But as long as Vince is around, they'll never challenge him...they're also family, so think about confronting your father-in-law about improving his product.
