Not a great one, but there were some really good moments, like Mysterio coming back and Adam Cole being involved. There were rumors that Daniel Bryan might have been cleared to participate, which would have blown the roof off the place, but it wasn't to be. Hurricane Helms was a nice surprise, shame it just as a gimmick to give Cena a few seconds to be the center of attention. Which was strange to compare to the women's match, where the old timers threw out lots of current wrestlers.
Nice that good Japanese wrestlers won both matches. But I would have preferred Daniel Bryan and Trish Stratus winning.
NXT Takeover put that PPV to shame overall. The opening tag match was unbelievable, in terms of the psychology and the execution. It was very original, and looked almost like a shoot at times, compared with the overly scripted and artificial feeling from some of the Rumble stuff, sadly including the Styles vs. Owens/Zayn match. The Cole/Black match was also really well done, and the main event with Almas and Gargano was fantastic.
