The AJ-punk-DB storyline hasnt even started to get going yet so its left it wide open to continue. that is the strand still linking them into a feud. If that wasnt there id kind of think that Punk returning the favor to DB last night could of been it over. But nobody has been set up for either man yet for them to start going elsewhere.

Hrm. . .

More evidence Bryan may be playing a major role at that PPV, anyway. And I did see that backstage run-in on WWE.com earlier, but WWE is really inconsistent with whether those things go anywhere.

It's just Tensai now, he's lost his Lordship. Yeah good move WWE that will make him more over with the fans.

And no explanation from WWE. Did his vassals overthrow him? Did they take his entrance attire? They need a YouTube video to explain this one like the Big Show mess-up.:lol

If i was a writer for WWE i would love to play a scripted Joke and have somebody "return" and find themselves on the wrong show or something. Have Batista come out during NXT get a massive pop, notice a bunch of rookies in the ring then realize then leave. Come out on Superstars notice Yoshi Tatsu vs Tyson kid in the ring or something then realize and go back. Come out during a divas match at a PPV then leave. Each time id have Batista come running to top of the ramp, go to the left big pop, go to the right big pop, start his machine gun then stop half way during the motion when realizing. Eventually after a couple of weeks of teasing eventually he would end up on Raw the night after the PPV.

A bit Jeircho-style of appearing then leaving without saying anything. Not a ground breaking idea but its never happened.

Your talk about what you would do as a writer got me thinking of what I would do if I was IN CHARGE. If I was in charge of the WWE, I would bring back legitimate factions, and legitimate tag teams, and good managers. I would take away the useless 2nd tier titles of Smackdown, so there would be only one championship that mattered and that the characters wanted. I would make guys like Jack Swagger more genuine title contenders, by giving them managers to speak for them. I would abolish the divas division. I would turn Cena heel as soon as possible. I would fire the Funkasaurus. I would abolish the WWE "developmental" unit, and simply head hunt the best from existing 'rasslin promotions around the world. I would put JR back on Raw, and stick Michael Cole on Smackdown only. I would hire Gabe Sapolski to do the booking. And I would have Stone Cold randomly run out every few weeks and stun somebody.

THIS. . .I COMMAND!

You forgot about making title exchanges PPV exclusives only. :lecture:lecture:lecture

I think Edge beat JJ at a house show to capture the IC title for the first time... lame-o.

I remember that one being at Skydome. Cheap hometown pop and then he dropped it right back on the PPV the next night.

Checking the records the last time the WWE title changed at a house show was '94 when Diesel beat Backlund. The time before that was Hogan beating Iron Sheik in '84.

Ah well Jericho indefinitely suspended. Brazil should not be so serious about their flag especially since what Jericho did was heal 101 cheap heat. Its a sad state of affairs when he has to be flown out of the country after the incident.

Good job he didnt do it in a middle eastern country or hed have people wanting to take his life and would probably see it as an act of war.

You would think people should know that WWE is all an act and anything of a taboo nature is not to be taken seriously or as a political statement.

Shame it was WWE's first time in Brazil too.

However if it is a work then i will put on a hat and take it off to them. I guess we will get further info in the future. Just have to wait and see.

Actually, the blame rests with the WWE. I'm not sure if they do or not, but they should give each of their employees a briefing on the customs and courtesies of the countries they'll be performing in. Had such a briefing been given before the event in Brazil, this would have been avoided.

I can only imagine what would happen during a tour of the Middle East if a WWE Superstar grabbed a fan with his/her left hand.

:lecture:lecture:lecture :exactly:

Babyface or heel, they represent the WWE. I'd imagine the "indefinite suspension" will work it's way out via storyline with him harassing talent until he gets another match.
