I hope you're right. Maybe they'll actually build up to their next match, if so.
So Punk v Lord Tensai then??
It's just Tensai now, he's lost his Lordship. Yeah good move WWE that will make him more over with the fans.
I think he should return on Superstars
Your talk about what you would do as a writer got me thinking of what I would do if I was IN CHARGE. If I was in charge of the WWE, I would bring back legitimate factions, and legitimate tag teams, and good managers. I would take away the useless 2nd tier titles of Smackdown, so there would be only one championship that mattered and that the characters wanted. I would make guys like Jack Swagger more genuine title contenders, by giving them managers to speak for them. I would abolish the divas division. I would turn Cena heel as soon as possible. I would fire the Funkasaurus. I would abolish the WWE "developmental" unit, and simply head hunt the best from existing 'rasslin promotions around the world. I would put JR back on Raw, and stick Michael Cole on Smackdown only. I would hire Gabe Sapolski to do the booking. And I would have Stone Cold randomly run out every few weeks and stun somebody.
THIS. . .I COMMAND!
I would actually go the other way, and have title changes at untelevised house shows, like when Bret Hart beat Ric Flair
I think Edge beat JJ at a house show to capture the IC title for the first time... lame-o.
Ah well Jericho indefinitely suspended. Brazil should not be so serious about their flag especially since what Jericho did was heal 101 cheap heat. Its a sad state of affairs when he has to be flown out of the country after the incident.
Good job he didnt do it in a middle eastern country or hed have people wanting to take his life and would probably see it as an act of war.
You would think people should know that WWE is all an act and anything of a taboo nature is not to be taken seriously or as a political statement.
Shame it was WWE's first time in Brazil too.
However if it is a work then i will put on a hat and take it off to them. I guess we will get further info in the future. Just have to wait and see.
Actually, the blame rests with the WWE. I'm not sure if they do or not, but they should give each of their employees a briefing on the customs and courtesies of the countries they'll be performing in. Had such a briefing been given before the event in Brazil, this would have been avoided.
I can only imagine what would happen during a tour of the Middle East if a WWE Superstar grabbed a fan with his/her left hand.
