Human bodies can only do so much of that. Benoit, and his mentor Dynamite Kid (among countless others) found out the hard way what happens when you push your body beyond what nature ever intended. I think it's only a matter of time before the head injury issue that is becoming so important to football matters also makes its way to pro rasslin and elsewhere.

Bryan performed a Benoit style headbutt just last night, something he's been doing for well over 10 years himself.

Vince would be smart to address it publicly now before it becomes another lame excuse for demonization of Professional Wrestling in the media.

Didn't you sell your entire collection of those earlier in the year? :lol

I like those figures, but I'm just not into the 6" figure collecting business anymore. I do have a mid-80s style Macho Man, though.

No, they never moved so I still have them. :lol Yeah, the Macho Man figure is really cool... I always meant to pick up one of those custom robe sets for him.

Those are pretty solid figures. I have a Taker and am waiting for a Wrestlemania 2-pack of Taker and Hunter.

Yeah, they are nice, but the recent Ultimate Warrior figure broke on me. :( Some have hip joints that are TOO tight.

Best match I ever saw was Beniot and Guerrero in WCW. People do not realize the damage of head injuries. I work with quite a few head injury clients. I am surprised there are not more football players killing themselves. Going be a bunch of these cases coming back from Afganistan and Iraq.

They need to find a better way to use Bryan. It's a sad day when Kane's showing him up and Jacobs has zero mic skills. :lol
Glen has great Mic Skills. Its just, the character he has is not one you can convey on the mic for an entire promo. He is slow, methodical and dangerous in the ring. So he is the same on the mic. He is very clear and eloquent. To say he has no mic skills makes me wonder if you have even watched him outside of 2 promos. He is probably one of the best. When the crowd are restless, which you would be crammed in an arena with strangers, kids and smelly drunks like i usually am the patience is gone after 40 seconds if there is no cheap pops thrown in. Which Kane wouldnt. Because he is a theatrical character. He is probably the smartest and most well spoke guy on the roster. Its not Glenns fault that it does not translate well into his monsters character.

Yeah, Benoit and Guerrero has lots of classic matches. I saw one Nitro match they had live. Benoit's first televised match was against Guerrero, and it was phenomenal. One of my favorite WCW matches back in the day was Benoit vs. Malenko from Hog Wild. Unfortunately, I just can't enjoy Benoit's matches anymore.

I agree, but that doesn't really equate to mic skills. When Kane was unmasked and talking, it was horrid. Someone with great mic skills would've been able to work that better.

Looks pretty good for a 62 year old man who just had a massive heart attack and almost died just a few days ago.

Found myself next to John Cena at the checkout line in a Publix grocery store here in Tampa yesterday. Had to a double take, didn't even know he lived here. He was pretty chummy with everyone.

Really? Awesome.

Yeah, when I finally realized why everyone in checkout was so giddy and who he was I was going to give him the obligatory head nod of respect but we didn't make eye contact after that. :lol

That is one ripped dude.

I now he is ripped. the screen doesn't do him justice.
