I know, you see them in their "element" with other wrestlers on TV and it's all relative but when you see one of these guys in a normal t-shirt mingling with commoners it's damn, that is one freaking buff dude. :lol

Well thats so cool awesome!!! dude. :hi5:

Found myself next to John Cena at the checkout line in a Publix grocery store here in Tampa yesterday. Had to a double take, didn't even know he lived here. He was pretty chummy with everyone.

I've noticed lots of WWE guys live in Tampa, and I mean lots. They seem to love it there.

Decent airport, good weather, and no state income tax. Yup, still wondering why I moved back north after college.:rolleyes2

Because Florida doesn't have any jobs? Seriously. Half the people I know from Florida don't work and those that do work menial jobs.

Yes, I know. Many of my friends down there have struggled. Moving back to where most of my family is also made sense although the job market in Maine isn't great either.

In the end I think I miss Florida because winter sucks, and I really didn't miss snow.:lol

I would not recommend that anyone move here. Thankfully I work from home with a company that is based in Redmond, WA so we won't be stuck here very much longer. We moved here because my wife grew up in SoCal and wanted sun and I have family here and it's a lot cheaper than California. Big mistake, we can't wait to leave.

Thanks for the update guys. I currently live in Northern California in the Bay Area and my wife and I were seriously..seriously considering moving to Florida, mainly Tampa, Miami or Orlando at one point because we loved the weather; but we never went through with it. I guess we dodged a bullet.

I enjoyed the end of Raw last night quite a bit. Punk is so great as a villain, and even with Heyman not saying a word, his presence in the ring just enhances Punk's awesome villainy. Such a great contrast to Cena's earnest do-gooderness. Unfortunately, I can't see Punk coming away from the title after facing Cena AGAIN. But. . .we'll see.

Seemed very odd to see Ryback standing there, defending Mick Foley at the end of the night, though. And speaking of Foley, it was nice seeing him get really aggressive with Punk earlier. Sort of reminiscent of his ECW Cactus Jack days. Foley usually comes across as this friendly, unoffensive guy nowadays, but back in the mid-90s he was phenomenal on the mic (edgy, unpredictable, and intense), and folks may forget that.

CM Punk hits fan.

Dumbass :duh

If he is gonna go off into the crowd he has to be a pro and expect to get pushed around or shoved. Socking up a fan like that was stupid, even if the fan did some dumb shat first. Who's the professional in the situation?

Its like an adult getting in a shouting match with a four year old and then saying "well he started it!", yeah well you're the adult, dumbass.

Just because they are professional wrestlers it does not mean they are fair game to be physically abused just because they leave the ring/ramp/stage area and are located in the crowd. To say they should expect to be pushed around is silly. Get booed and jeered, pats on the back as they walk around but not pushed around. Especially when they are stood on stairs. On top of that the straw that broke his back was when he thought he had been slapped on back of the head. The guy behind him did accidently slap the back of punks head in another video that is online.

You cant behave like that in day to day life so why would you think it would be ok to do that to a performer mid-act?

Punk in hindsight over-reacted ONLY because the guy didnt mean to hit the back of his head. But punk wasnt to know that as the moron fans thought it was ok to push the guy around like he is some kind of animal.

That short Hyspanic guy in the Metal Mulisha shirt's a *****. He kept shoving Punk then let that other poor bastard take the beating because of it.

Him too but Punk puts him in his place.

At about the 36 second mark, there is a guy in a white shirt behind the fan in the black shirt right behind Punk. The guy in the white shirt flips the bird then shoves Punk in the back of the head when the guy in the black shirt is raising his arms. Punk smacks the guy in the black shirt because he thought he was the one that shoved his head.

I was also thinking about the issue with the stairs. Punk could have been pushed down some stairs by that a-hole, which could have caused injury. So in that sense, I can sorta kinda justify his behavior. BUT, as a heel, it is his job to get the crowd riled up to the point where they are supposed to want to kill him. Just as the ring is a place where the fans don't belong, maybe the audience is a place where rasslers don't really belong.

In Ring of Honor, when Punk and others went into the crowd it was one thing. But in WWE there are children and other folks who aren't exactly "smart marks" who know what they are doing and who wouldn't behave as those kids behind Punk did without expecting repercussions.

"WWE security was unfortunately not in the appropriate place at the time. Given CM Punk's persona as a 'bad guy' fans were naturally heckling him, but unfortunately a few fans began shoving him and one struck him in the kidney and on the back."

"WWE regrets that proper security measures were not in place, and CM Punk apologizes for reacting in the heat of the moment."

... i just cant get how a fan can get angry enough to actually physically put his hands on a performer with malice. Its almost like they dont know wrestling is pre-determined and orchestrated and Punk was PLAYING a character.
