So far I am let down by all of the Marvel offerings from SideShow's SDCC showcase. Hard to impress us after the Redskull, Thor PFs, and the 1:1 Iron Man. Oh, and I guess Mystique too.

At 1/4 Scale I think that the Iron Spidey will look impressive but it'll be interesting to see if it gets marred by the traditional scuffs like the Iron Mans before it.

I agree. IMO, Biggest disapointment is the Thing LSB. They weren't even trying on that one.

Tends to be the way it is with the LSB line. They look weak in pictures but amazing in person.

I missed the Life-Size Thing so Sideshow gave me a nice reprieve for missing the huge version

Hopefully when the LSB arrives I'll be glad I missed the big one.

I know. The 1:1 Thing bust is tough to beat for sure. It was hated when released but when I first saw it in person, I fell in love.

I totally understand, I've always had a soft spot for Thing because after all it's not his fault he's a weird looking rock

1:1's are impressive, yet they have thier drawbacks..

1) Statue and Box are space suckers
2) The production pace is at a snails pace.. The New IM isn't even comic based like the other 3..
3) The new retial price range seems to have doubled to the 6-700 dollar range for 1:1's.. One must serious consider thier nerd staus dropping chunks of change that large on an item..

After collecting a small handfull of LSBs and seeing others collections lined up.. I can undestand why sideshow is pumping them out... They are almost as awesome as me..
