what horrible social system? it works for singapore coz their citizens put an effort on discipline.
they dont just adhere to their laws and FEAR getting fined for littering. they are actually conscious and proud of their clean country.
there is a reason why singapore taxi drivers are only singaporean nationals/citizens and not offered to foreigners.
heck, even the disabled have an active role as far as jobs/work is concerned. they dont just do nothing and wait for benefits.

Singapore got a great economic system. But they got horrible social system. People get executed, caned, etc. for illegal drugs, etc.. Doubt a lot of U.S. citizens would want to be executed for being caught with illegal drugs. Think most states are cooling on execution, in the U.S..

Execution is a perfectly legitimate sentence for first degree murder (only other crimes I'd entertain as deserving of death are sex crimes against children). Not so much for drug possession.

That's amazing.

imo, singapore's prostitution laws are even better than NZ's. at least we have one, a work in progress.lolz
under singapore law, a foreigner/expat/tourist can work in the sex industry under certain conditions. they need to be registered. full health checks and regulations, they are actually covered by law. but they are not allowed to apply for citizenship.
in NZ, only NZ citizens of the right age are allowed to work in the industry. that puts all them traveling ladies in one big gray area.

What are their laws for male prostitutes? Those that cater to men..........and to women?

Mr. Green will be able to fit in Singapore just fine. Also, from what Mr. Green heard, Singapore have a strict regulation on automobile. They have heavy tax on auto purchase. It is understandable due to their small real estate.

Planning a vacation?

Prolly just a stay where she doesn't have to apply for citizenship.

Actually, I was just curious because there are so many countries that are against it.

I would like to go to New Zealand one day though. ;)

Nice, Lejuan! I rarely bother going to the theatre anymore but have my tickets booked for the 23rd (last movie I saw in-theatre was Skyfall, to give you an idea how long it's been :lol). Really looking forward to it.

Skyfall, what was that, three years ago? I hope you're not out of practice :lol

I rarely go to the theatre any more either, and I can't remember the last time I was at a daytime session. But it's on a work day and I won't be knackered after having to get the kids to bed. I'm also going by myself to the local cinema, massive widescreen and full of reclining goodness:

These new utility vehicles looks so good. Like the new UPS trucks or Nissan van, they have this boxy look but more rounded on the edge and more rounded windows.

from WARDRUNA.
The darkest days of the year marks the end of the death-cycle of the year and the beginning of the life-cycle. It is in these darkest of days that summer and light is born. It is a good time let die what needs to die and make room for new things to grow. So light you own fires in honor of the sun and her grand cycle of life and death. Light them with intent and let it burn away what needs to be burnt and let the fire and smoke carry your hopes and wishes coming time high and far!

Being independent.

I was shrooming pretty hard a couple nights back, and through all the enhanced visuals and inability to string long fragments of thought together, was overcome with relief that I can function normally in my day-to-day.

I'm not cognitively challenged by anxiety, paranoia, depression, rage, confusion or delusion :woo

Seriously, that's wonderful. I struggle with occasional anxiety due to hormonal changes and depression due to my home life at times.

What's sad is that I have two friends that just consider each day as a day closer to death. I wouldn't want to live like that.

It is wonderful, and incredibly lucky. Difficult circumstances are one thing, but if your chemistry is out of whack life can be extra hard.
