That's a thing? Greater apes should have some rights. Chimps share 96% of our DNA... regardless that they're primitive animals, it'll be the same as neutering a man.

There's been plenty of stories out there, however not entirely common for people to own them, of them being attacked. Limbs ripped off, de-balled, faces eaten etc :lol

No sympathy from me to them. They're wild animals and basically human... they shouldn't be in cages.

That's pretty sad. And I too, have no sympathy for those *******s who keep them in cages (makes you think about who's the real animal there). They're the closest relatives we have - just imagine how they might evolve in a few more million years (if they're still around).

The only type of stuff I think is fine if it's a sanctuary for rehomed former pets or circus animals.

Kevin Richardson is a Africa animal behaviorist, and I don't know of any instance of him being attacked, but has been scratched and stuff when they play rough.

Yeah, animals that were previously held in captivity would find it incredibly difficult to live in the wild, so sanctuaries are needed for them.

I think a lot of animals are smarter than what we give them credit for. If you can show them respect, they'll respect you (granted, I wouldn't want to be face-to-face with a hungry lion :lol).

Yeah, that's what he says when people criticize him with the cats. He's been with a lot of them since birth and has a bond with them. He's not some yahoo that wants to dress them up and have them eat on a kitchen table :lol he's gotta know what he's doing when he hasn't been mauled yet and he's been with probably hundreds of 500lb Lions.

Anyone who is aiming for protection, education, and ending trophy hunting is alright in my book.

I've come to really like Cheetahs. There the only big cat that more or less are docile around humans.

Only problem is they're overly affectionate and lick your skin off... :lol

Trophy hunting can have its place when done sustainably and properly managed, ie the fees are directed to the local communities that'd otherwise make their coin slaughtering animals for the bush meat trade, and towards anti-poaching programs and resources.

Has Deep done ANYTHING good besides being C. Jack in the last 10 years? And when I say good, I meant relevant somehow. He's done NOTHING good.

He does very well in his roles, but his choice of movies are pretty bad. He needs to stay away from Tim Burton for one thing. You don't think Captain Jack is good? I love that character!

I admire his charity work doing all these visits to sick kids and stuff... I just think he stinks as an actor. I do like him as Jack, but all his characters are sideways version of Jack in his portrayal.

I think he drank himself into a permanent stupor given he even talks like Jack in real life...

You'd have to see him in some of his more obscure stuff. And like I said, before he got so involved with Burton.
