Phones had only just started to come in in my last year of school. I got my first one for college. Must be a whole bunch of new ***t teachers have to tackle nowadays.

People ask me all the time why I didn't become a teacher. Maybe if I was teaching back in the 70s or 80s, but now? NO WAY!

Going to Toys R Us was a big deal when I was a kid--especially since we didn't have one in our town. It was the ultimate toy store back then, and just walking in the door made you feel like it was Christmas morning. Too bad they didn't keep up with competitive pricing and give more attention to their online store. I know I stopped buying stuff from them over the years because there were so many cheaper options around.

There was an Arby's next to the closest Toys r us near me and as a kid getting a massive roast beef sandwich and a new He-Man or TMNT was the greatest thing in the world!
