Well it really takes someone with limited executive function to cross those boundaries and have *** with someone who you have "undue influence and authority" over. It's equivalent to psychologists/psychiatrists/doctors having *** with their patients. She knew better but could not contain herself. She deserves to lose her job, but not register as a *** offender.
That shouldn't have even come to police attention let alone made news.

22 year old guy, 18 year old girl. I have no problem with that. I'd feel the same way. Both are adults. Her job, yes, she should lose that, but prison time? That's just silly.

I find it kinda funny how these cases make it nation wide in the news, yet when I was in school almost all the Puerto rican girls in 9th grade had bfs that were like 28-29 years old. everybody knew even their families. they said high school boys were too young, I remember the guys would pick them up from school.

Yup and that was wrong then also...
But since people likely viewed it a a cultural thing , and not a white issue , it was not labeled wrong...

it was bizarre. I dont know what was more shocking, the girls going for such older men, the guys not caring about what they were doing or getting in trouble, or the teachers and other adults around turning a blind eye.
That still goes on in a lot of Latino countries.....
Older man, more established.....technically...better providers....
A lot of poor countries its a way of life...still arranged marriage in many places.
It’s is weird that it went on and no one did or said anything. But in a lot of new immigrant communities people do not mingle.
I am sure a lot of that kind of thing is going on in some of the newer immigrant communities we are seeing now.
