FL is very strict on 18. some of those girls were like 14 or something, but even the 16 year old girl was still not good by law.
xipotec is totally correct I think, and now if you think about it, most of the cases that make it to the news are white people. white teachers. You almost never see non white teachers that got in trouble on the news. Kinda weird. I think some of the parents of those girls I saw might have been aware. xipotec is right about the cultural thing. It just felt creepy to see. of all the cases I can't really think of a non white adult that was on the news for this.

She's very much a youth, herself, and he was already 18. Lord knows people in their early 20s don't have their lives figured out. They really shouldn't even be teaching younger folks.
We have a lot of teachers fresh out of college. They go to college and have their degrees by 22 or 23.

You need to have younger adults teaching, for so many reasons.
It's quite scary to me there's going to be teachers in just a few short years, that have eaten tide pods.

Women use that gap to observe the behavior of children who cannot make their own sandwich so they'll be ready when they have more than one to babysit. You never wondered why women were naturals at childrearing? They've had ample practice by that point.
Rooted hair customs.
I don't think I've seen many that actually turn out well. Most of the time they look like a burned victim wig or dryer lint.

I don't think I've ever really seen rooted hair work, custom or otherwise. Baby Doll, maybe. Nothing else comes to mind. I have two Cool Girl based customs, and it really only passes on them because I think of them as dolls more than action figures. (If I remember it right, Cool/Cy Girl were marketed as action dolls.)

I haven't paid attention to customs in a long time. I want to see someone succeed who isn't a dollmaker, per se.
Even smaller company's runs are too mass produced for it to work without needing futzing that borders on modification.

Phicen is about it. My Lady Action from them has perfect looking rooted hair. While my Hot Toys Baby Doll hair is a nightmare. Sarah Connor has crazy hair, but is fitting.....
