think SS will beat Medicoms Boba?

I'd place a decent amount of cash at seeing Fett during SDCC. Just a gut feeling honestly. As far as beating Medicoms Fett or not. Well, their Fett is really quite nice but like EF said I think the materials SS will use puts it over the top. The design will match cause Medicom did nail that but as I said the materials will push it towards SS.

Yeah, in terms of the actual components, I much prefer Sideshow's hard plastic armor over the soft pieces that Medicom uses. On that notion alone I anticpate Sideshow's being better.

Visually, have to just see what they do, other than better detailing to the armor pieces I'm not sure what else you could do that Medicom didn't with their figure, of all the Medicom figures I own or have seen pictures of from their Star Wars line, I think Boba is the best one they've done.

I also agree he's likely to show up at a convention this year, either SDCC or CV, maybe CV as a treat for the Star Wars specific show since Boba's one of, if not the most popular characters in all of Star Wars based on short screen time.

I hope SSC does a ROTJ Fett...then I wont mind having another. Well i wouldnt mind anyway..but easier to pull the trigger when i can say I dont actually have that version

I'm sure they'll do both, though likely ESB first. Between ROTJ being a variant that can recycle parts like troopers, and the ammount of figures and pieces they've poured into the Jabba lineup, I'm pretty sure ROTJ Fett will happen at some point.

My only real concern is the helmet shape, as Maulfan said they have failed on all other attempts, & all SSC armours figs have issues concerning helmet shape

Medi Boba is the only RAH I bought after being impressed by the images seen from fellow freaks here. There is still the issue with the easily breakable legs though. I had to get a replacement body for mine in the end.

I have confidence SSC will match that standard. They have to get the helmet right first. The PF helmet look completely off. The life-size helmet, correct me if I am wrong, seems a little "compressed".

If parts of SS Boba turn out better I probably will buy them off ebay and put them on Medi, I really dont see SS improving on the sculpt since theres basically nothing to improve Ordered Medi a second ago, hope I wont be disappointed!

In height yes...but i have both SSC and Medicom Vaders....and if the medicom where taller..it would be better... The anakin face sculpt alone (ROTJ) is better than any SSC star wars sculpt to date..and how old is this thing?

Not much of a answer. We all know SS isn't going to give theirs soft vinyl gauntlets or a cheap plastic belt. That alone will put them over.

Main worries will be the finest of the cloth used. Medi used very fine stuff. Compare the cloth on Medi and SSD Maul.

Armour wise, I think it will be on par.

I have no doubt they'll release both Boba's, so I'm not even gonna worry about that, but him & Jango are the only 2 Medi's I have and I love both. They look awesome displayed together.

The only thing I'm hoping SS come through with are, dull paint on his bucket and bulking him up abit so this doesn't look like a scene from the upcoming live action series

Im not a huge fan of medicom, But their boba's look great from the many pictures I have seen. He looks so puny standing next to sideshows vader.

I think that Sideshow make a great Boba , the Medi is the best for now , for many reasons , however i hope and i trust that SSC give us a wonderful figure.

I also love my Medi Boba, great representation of the bounty hunter all around.
