I keep getting my suggestion threads deleted without reason so I'll try again.
Any sculptors ever consider making these?:

Most of those are so plain and not very interesting characters that many people wouldnt want a collectible of.

Maybe not for a "first figure", or even a "tenth" figure in your collection... but there comes a point, when you've got many, many figures... that these are exactly the characters left to round out your collection.

Some interesting choices there, but I can't see most of those appealing to more than a small handful of collectors. I would love a Night of the Hunter Mitchum for my collection, though. And if I ever got a decent Eddie Murphy, then Nick Nolte would be awesome as a companion piece.

What movie is that James Woods from? A Videodrome figure could be awesome.

Some people are hard to get sculpts of. Heck, I just barley got enough people for a commission I started. I thought Weird Al would bring in more people. Good luck in building you 1/6 collection. Don't give up because you'll get what you want in time.

John Wayne, plain?
Burt Reynolds, plain?
James Coburn, plain?
I could go on and on.
Superman completists, deserve a Cain to round out the collection.
Spy enthusiasts deserve a Derek Flint for theirs. Not to mention Remo Williams.
Crime drama fans deserve Starsky, Hutch and Hunter [just to name a few]
And all of these have cross genre appeal where they could be used in modern, military or sci-fi dios. Any one of them worthy of battling a Predator, better than a Sweeny Todd and a refreshing change of pace from another Joker.
The world needs fresh sculpts.
Not another dozen Bruce Willis', Arnold's, Sly's, Indy's......
Something NEW.

You're better off asking peter the painter over at OSW to sculpt them for you. He's already done a Wayne and Coburn.

Someone else on here did Starsky and Hutch, i think it was Alex Lopez ( i have his Columbo and it's great ).

I like that Peter is doing a lot of out of the box sculpts. I'm not keen on all of his likenesses though. I do want his Redford for my Genesis II Alex Cord "Dylan Hunt". And the Coburn I'd like to see is not Steiner and would be cleanshaven with different hair.
I have yet to see anyone capture a decent Duke.

I have Alex's S&H. Hutch is outstanding but, no offense to Alex, Starsky is SVU's Stabler with curly hair.

Peter will sculpt you a clean shaven Coburn ( and any other heads you want ) just ask him.

As for Alex's Starsky, Glaser and Meloni do look very much alike.

Btw, Ada Chan does a Wayne and Mitchum but i'm not sure if they suffer from size issues.

Anyway, you'll probably only get the heads you want by commissioning them yourself.

You're probably right.
While there are similarities in their looks, Meloni and Glaser are twins in the sculpts. They are no where near that similar.
I have a number of Ada's sculpts, her Wayne and Mitchum not being among as they are definitely not among her better work.

Your best bet for these is finding and/or supporting an older sculptor who relates more to these actors than some of the younger sculptors on here. Snyder-man's parents are older and they have done the way back on a few of thier sculpts. They offer three versions of a younger Chuck Norris, but according to his dad they get little support from this community. I'm hopeing they will do more heads along the lines of what you are looking for. I've ask several times for a 1/6th scale version of the Eddie Murphy they did for Robot chicken. maybe someday?

I’ve been commissioned to do Dean Cain so I’ll be doing that soon. And I’ll be finishing my Starsky & Hutch set that I started a few years ago.

Snyder-man's sculpts are nice but not $150 nice. No offense to him but while I'd LOVE to have a number of them I just can't justify that price. And an unpainted sculpt won't work. I have too many of those already.

Will Dean be available then? Or is it a private commission. And how does Galaxy Quest look?
