Has he contacted you as to why it's taking so long?

No he hasn't. Hey it's eBay right? once paid, the seller becomes king... suppose i put too much pressure and he decides to not ship? I'll send him a message, that might help but it's largely a waiting game at this point.

best way to pay for items off of the bay is with your credit card through paypal, that way if paypal isn't to helpful (that never happens:lol) then all you have to do is do a charge back through your credit card, and then paypal and ebay have to sort it out with your card company.

dont get your hopes up they did the same thing last week then it re adjusted back to a pre order , i dont think we will ever get one of these ,there not even on ebay in the uk,i think these are going to be as rare as rocking horse sh1t in the u k , if you did not order direct from ss:banghead

It has indeed gone back to 'pre-order' :monkey2

Might give them a ring but im not sure how much info customer service will be able to give. im more worried now about the Iron Man 1:1 i have on order with them especially since its sold out on SS

It's a real shame. Play.com pre-orders have reverted back from "order taken" to "pre-order". I've seen this happen tons of times when play dont receive an item they listed on their website.

shipping from the US is also proving... tricky. I ordered from eBay a week ago, and USPS haven't even received the order from the seller, not to talk of posting :monkey2

You folk stateside do not realise how lucky you are. I'd quite happily pay $500 for this (I paid $463) to have this delivered to my doorstep

:lol:lol:lol Everyone here in the states are goin $500+ thats easy... It's gettn that coin without any probs here!

How long has it been?

If its been MORE than a two weeks and he hasn't shipped, file a dispute with Paypal. Just remember you're the one who choses what kind of feedback the seller gets. ("+", neutral, or "-".)

This sounds a lot like my recent transaction, where the seller said he had the piece but it was taking him a while to find the right box to ship it in. So I gave him two weeks and it turns out the seller NEVER had the piece to begin with! (Basically, the item in the auction never existed. :banghead) I'm not saying this will happen to you, but be careful.

How did u figure out that he never had the item, just asking for future reference? Did u get your money back?

You ready for this one? :D(And as hard as this is to believe, it's way too crazy for me to make up.)

In terms of knowing that the seller never had the item....When I bought the item and paid via Paypal, the seller said "I'm going to package it soon, blah, blah, blah.....but give me a day or two to find the right box, etc." I gave the seller a few days then emailed him and he said he was still looking for the right box. A week goes by......I emailed him again (giving him the benefit of the doubt.) He said funds were tight and he didn't have the money to ship it out. He needed time for some money to clear through his bank. He said he would ship it the next day though. ***Am I dreaming here? Is this really happening?.........*** The next day comes and goes. Then another and another. I email him and he stopped returning my messages. So in terms of a timeline, it's 2 weeks (actually almost 3 weeks now that I think of it) after I sent payment.

Finally, I get a response. The seller said he just received the item in the mail. ***Yes, you heard me right.*** The seller said he just received the item, 2 - 3 weeks after I paid for an item that was supposedly already in his possession. Anyways, he received it damaged and he wouldn't send it to me because "it was far too damaged.":rolleyes::rolleyes:

So I asked him, "Did you ever have the piece to begin with?" And he said no but he knew he was going to get one and was waiting for the supplier to send it all this time. I asked if I could have a partial discount and if he could send the piece anyway. And he said no and that he would never send this piece in this condition to anyone. :rotfl (And funny thing is he wouldn't tell me where the damage was.) *You have to remember here that I emailed the seller numerous times during the auction and asked him about the condition of the item. He said it was mint. But now he's telling me he never had the piece. So he even went so far as to lie about the condition of a piece he never had!!!!

Here's the kicker: I asked politely for a refund. He said he didn't have the money to give a refund at the minute, but he would have the money by the end of the week.....................:banghead***Am I being Punk'd here? Is Ashton behind this?***

So I filed a dispute with Paypal that night. And miraculously, I had the money back the next day. :D Meaning the seller was "full of breeze" and just wanted to play with my money for another few days and it took a nice email from Paypal to get the ball moving.

WOW unreal, that's total BS! Man I haven't been pulled around like that at all but I haven't bought much off of eBay except for one SS statue and that was Dr. Doom Ex which I almost had a heart attack until it arrive at my place... After that one purchase off of eBay I was vowing myself to never buy from there again (I did just one more time and I had that total relist BS with the Stealth, I'm not sure if u remember my story) because it's hard enough to try and trust even fellow freaks on here let along the several ppl on eBay! Even Chris here has had some trouble with fellow freaks on the condition of certain items... Just unreal, kind of makes me sick to my stomach LOL!

U ended up getting one regardless didn't u Mike, I mean a Thor?!??!

Well, this wasn't for a Thor. I was just thinking of the story after reading that post earlier.

Daaaaaaaang Mike!!! That's such a load of BS! :Flush

Please tell me that you left this guy negative feedback!!! Funny thing is, the MYSTERIOUS board member here has YET to give me a refund for my Thor! The item was returned and insured, and I'm having to go through the headache of a paypal claim because this jackass doesn't wanna refund my money! He's had the item back in his possesion for over a week now and just ceased all communication with me, and is apparently only responding to the authorities at Paypal handling the claim...

What a piece of crap :sancho

Actually, I haven't left the feedback.....yet! I'm trying to cool down first before I write it. (This whole thing just ended a few days ago.)

So your seller hasn't gotten back to you either?!?! :horror He has the piece and the money? Oh, that's fair. :banghead

You should ask him the condition and the flaws it had and the seller claimed it was minty!!!! :lol

That's what I can't believe! A lot of people know how picky I am with buying pieces from other sellers. That's why I ALWAYS ask a couple of times in advance to purchasing a piece what its condition is. He said mint..........Yeah, it was mint because it never existed. :banghead

I've actually dealt with that kind of seller before. It's good that you got your money back. I couldn't recover mine because seller depleted his account before Paypal could recover my money. :(
