Personally I won't spend £500+ on a PF. That's like $750 and I don't have that kind of money to invest in this nascent hobby of mine :-(

I think it's pretty harsh that a $250 will go for $750 in just a few weeks after release? Guys - you are more experienced in this, do you think it's normal?

Well once realease Thor commanded a $500 US price tag, I think it's the overall wowness of the piece that made this possible... The size is just overwhelming once place with all the other PF's plus everyone that all ready had a Captain and Hulk PF it started being in great demand to complete a Avengers set. Soon a IM in 1/4 if not the classic that was on sale earlier these past few months might make that set complete...

On the other hand you have Red Skull which sells for retail or below retail, seemed that not many believe they needed to get it to match their Captain PF on displaying purposes... I also didn't think there was much fan base for Red Skull for some reason which really surprised me...

Yeah, I'm really surprised with RS. I sold my EX. a while back, but I'm a little bewildered why it hasn't gone up much at all. I'll admit it's a really well crafted piece. (Unfortunately, it just wasn't my style.) It'll skyrocket in the future. It's just a late-bloomer.

Without a doubt guys it will demand more of a price in the future, I love it, it's actually one of my favorites like you were saying the cloth detail and all it really is a nice, good exclusive swapping as well, I was actually thinking of swapping the cube hand in just to change the look of it for a while!

yeah i got two actaully(sorry orc), really wanted to be able display him both ways. if later i get tired of both of him i'll just pack one up for sale(maybe) later when the movies come out.

Oh, so that's why they're taking so long. So it's not just a Canada shipping thing, it's pretty much world wide? Aren't some UK buyers/sellers running into trouble too (ie play.com, etc)

yeah that;s what i heard, i can only go by what the lcs said, but they were right on the money, when they said there was a problem with the sim paint job. and they knew about that well before anyone else did.

i guess they should be in the know, since i hear that they are one of the largest, if not the largest ss distributors in canada. (not for sure, just that's what i've heard)

i hope it's not the case, but from what i've heard the whole chinese economy thing is up in the air right now, with factories either going broke or just closing down. along with that add the labour unrest that comes with that and you could have a sitiuation turn ugly pretty fast over there.

like i said i hope none of this is affecting sideshow, but i can't help to think it might be somewhat, since i hear it affecting alot of other suppliers now. i also just heard that it's even harder to get shipping space for containers from over there now.
