Great looking statue, a must order for me. I want Thor, brown suit Wolverine, green Hulk, and a spider-man PF. Hopefully this stays in the $400 range. Not liking the price on the new Hulk, but what can you do... besides miss out on an awesome sculpt...

I love the design of Modern Thor, it's the reason I started reading his book in the first place. Hopefully, they release a Marvel NOW! Cap to go along with this.

The quarterback here needs to take another step before he is ready to throw so he can shift his weight. Thor is at the end of his base/pedestal so it looks like he has no where to go. I realize the base is likely cut off to capture him in the moment...

You would think but I wouldn't put anything past SSC's desire to rehash sculpts and make some easy $$$.

They can't rehash this sculpt into a classic. The armor on the arms and legs is engraved. It would require a seperate mold.

I'd rather they leave the classic to their amazing original PF and move forward.

A Ribic "Godbomb" outfit would rock. I always felt it combined the best aspects of the classic, modern and film together.

Very much! And to be clear again, it would be cool to see. I wouldn't look at it as a cheap money grab because it would require some simple reworking and it's still the same character. My only issue is that if SSC knows they are going to release a classic variant, we should know now as well. This way, peeps can decide to wait on the variant or just PO the modern one. I'm all in for the modern Thor PF. I have the Bowen classic museum Thor so I'm pretty excited to be able to add his modern costume somewhere in my collection. This is a fantastic looking PF and I'm looking forward to the PO.

I think Ribic's Thor is awesome. However, this all just boils down to what costume peeps like most. Your idea is kind of cool though. At least that would give us something that we can't already get. This is one of those rare occasions where I can say I really like all 3 costumes.

Yeah, I do give them props for that. At least peeps are making an informed decision when choosing which PF they want to buy. Everyone knows their options upfront.

You can post those pics all day but it doesn't change the fact that the statue itself looks awkward. Do you really think this is the best pose Sideshow could come up with?
