1/4 scale with the same base and materials It would have been the supadupapump

Simply SS can made a woody harrelson playing basket and call it "Thor modern premium format"

But for sure they will sell a lot of Woodys

I can only base my opinion from what I've seen in the video thus far and for me I'm not too keen on the portrait nor am I a huge fan of the modern Thor outfit. The base and dynamic pose are really appealing but to me, there will only always be one Thor and that is the original comic version PF...still arguably one of the best Thor statues out there imo...

definitely pre-ordering, good thing i sold the first Thor PF, just about had it with the cloth staining but man it does have presence!

not sure why people are reacting to the left hand pose, even without the reference picture below, it only fits the action:

Not if he's throwing on the run. Depending on when he saw his opportunity to strike either leg could have been forward if he was in motion.

Even the original Thor had it's moaners.

Personally I much prefer this to the original. Comparing the new & the old Avenger PF's so far the only old PF I prefer is the Captain America but it's all down to taste which is the best though

This is great news for you Steve after selling your original PF, this sounds like this version is just the Thor your looking for to rebuild your collection! Just means yet another Pre Order to add to the list how many is that now? 10? 11?

Whatever people are moaning and they have the right to do so IMHO, this will still sell. No statue is perfect, and no statue will be loved by everyone. I personally don't know if I will order this...will have o c the EX (any guesses?) . The only Thor I have in my collection is ARH'S. which is totally different from the modern one. I personally like the details on it , don't really like the left hand either...but overall it looks nice. So any guesses on the EX please

And we still have the Comic Con coming up...I need some of this stuff to flip over to 2015. Them coming out on time or close to it, plus all the awesome stuff coming up...its an embarassment of riches I cant keep up with.

To think, there was a long stretch last year when people were wondering if SS was getting away from 1/4 PF's...

I think this is an awesome looking Thor, not as great as the first one, but pretty good in it's own right. I think the new Cap beats it's predecessor, jury is out on Hulk. Either way, they are bringing the heat!

I hear you Josh. I already have 6 PFs on PO and we haven't even reached SDCC. Thankfully, I only have 1 more flex payment left on Superman and Harley, and 2 flex payments left on Apocalypse. However, that still leaves me with WW, Red Skull, and Catwoman to pay off. Now with modern Thor on the horizon, and a Doom as well as a Flash PF possibly around the corner, I feel like SSC has declared an all out assault on my wallet. The hits are coming fast and furious by SSC of late. My only disappointment being the green Hulk PF. However, I'll just be putting that $550 towards the other PFs I mentioned and hope SSC nails a modern Hulk somewhere down the line. Man, I need to catch my breath. SDCC is just a few months away. Who knows what other goodies SSC has planned for that?
