Thor PF Ex is coming...

For anyone who hasn't seen this PF in person, you will be blown away by its size. It will be the tallest PF SS has made to date and it's just an impressive, impressive statue.

Hence the reason I'm obsessed with this one

So from the pics above posted by urbanfreddy, it looks like Thor is going to tower over Captain. And Thor isn't even on his base in that picture!!!!

Well in the comics Thor is about 4" taller than Cap but you are right once Thor gets on his base he will tower over Cap and Hulk (gulp).

When did you put in for the wait list? If was after the first month or so chances aren't looking good but you never know.

Yeah, I got on the WL on 6/25/08 and with the prices that just PRE-ORDERS are selling for I highly doubt anyone will cancel

Well all hope is not lost, last year I pre-ordered a PF Hulk and after I got it my brother saw it and wanted one for himself so I ordered another from the wait list and within 2 weeks the order was converted and he got it within 2 weeks. It appears that flippers have gotten wind of the popularity of Sideshow pieces and have driven up the secondary market sales but a lot of people cancel due to reasons not apparent now (ie: credit card issues, too much on order, unforseen expenses, etc. ) So there is hope that you could still get one without going to the poor house on ebay.

i always liked thor, but i had this on order and cancelled it basically because of the size of it. most of the pf are a nice size to manage, this one was just to large for my liking. i mean 30" holy sht, a guy would have one cabinet just for him.

See what I mean, people will cencel all the way up to and beyond the shipping day, plus there are returns, so you still may get one.

Well, finding ANY PF in the REGULAR edition is as easy as finding Where's Waldo at a 50 cent concert...... It's usually the exclusive edition that's hard to find, ESPECIALLY for PF's that sell out within hours! I already have a regular on PO, it's just the exclusive that I want to get my hands on
