i actually think that his body is fine.

I think the clothing is a bit big though. We should be able to see his rib cage area.

Looks about right to me...

i was really hoping for Sideshow to go with the new Thor costume look.

He definitely looks thick in the mid-section.

He isn't fat. That's just the lighting and shots playing tricks on your eyes. His body is steriod bloated. That's what a guy on steroids and GH (Growth Hormones) would look like. I know, because I go to enough body building competitions. In fact, I have competed in them. I know a lot of great clean (no substance abusers) body builders, and others that unfortunately are anabolic-ally loaded. Personally I have never taken anything anabolic, nor would I ever touch the stuff. Your body WILL go from an anabolic state to a catabolic state. Too many long-term health risks for such a short-term fix. That's why I'll be nothing more than a welterweight. Look at 2007 Mr. Olympia winner Jay Cutler. Google up his picture. His body is pretty much the same as Thor's here. That's what elite anabolic body builders look like.

Their backs and waist lines from the front are so big and bloated that it looks like they are fat.

So is that muscle then in general? Im not clear what the bloating is? Miller's Batman looks the same way. I love the look personally.

Lots of anabolics give you that bloated look... natural body builders' muscle tend to be more flat. Anabolic loaded body builders tend to have bloated muscle.. almost as though their muscle is holding a crap-load of water.

Edit: Actually I know for a fact their muscles hold more water. That's why when I really rip up for a competition I get very small, and lose substantial muscle mass because of all the water weight I lose.

So is this the same reason Stalone looked like he could rip off my head in Rambo IV?

Slyvester is definitely on steroids. lol

He's 60-plus. Your body loses a lot of testosterone at a certain age. I can't remember when that is. While it is possible to be big by eating a crapload of food, and more than your body weight in protein, taking creatine, oils, and crap, he still looks jacked up. He has to be juicing it.

Then again, there is a guy at my gym who says he's clean and looks just as big as Sly, if not even bigger. He also won Provincials this past year in Manitoba. Then again, just because you say you're clean doesn't make it true. But he does seem like the honest type. I guess one can get big and maintain that size through a good diet and lots of heavy training.
