i grew up on cars, comics, challenge of the superfriends, a-team, dukes of hazzard and gijoe. TF&F contains bits of all those, minus the ****** ricers of course.

If you really look at all of these episodic stories, Marvel, DC, Fast and Furious, they're just like soap operas but on a more colorful action packed scale.

All this Fast and Furious talk... I will add my 2 cents..

I don;t hate them.

I think the first film is quality and its funny to return to watch it after what the series has become.

The next 3 never really won me over the the formula was getting old.

Part 5 is what the series needed as far as being fresh again. 6 and 8 were dumb fun and 7 was awful.

They are what they are... They are the very definition of popcorn flicks.. Every one of them.

I am with Jye... I grew up reading comics so I tend to enjoy comic films way more then F&F films.. Except Thor 3, AOU, and IM3... They are not as good as 3 of the last 4 F&F films... There I said It... Eat that Jye

Nothing beats watching these movies growing up with my dad. He'd scream at the tv every time. "Kill that ******er. Die piece of ****". Mon would scream in the background "LANGUAGE!". Good times. Come to think of it. He still does it with Jason Bourne and john wick. Ok yeah my dads got a problem. Sorry guys. Carry on

im not even a hardcore fan of fast and furious and i dont even own the movies. I watched them once (Except the first 3, first three Ive watched a lot)
I personally only love Fast and furious 2
Im just saying calling those as generic, recycle and dumb action while praising marvel is kind of funny because they both are guilty of the same

The 80's was the home of great action films.. But man it had it's fair share of stinkers... Cobra anyone?? Commando is great cheese but it's really not a very good film.
