Best Thor costume yet, but needs the helmet even if only in the battle scenes.

That one bad guy had a wee bit of the Kurse design in his helmet IMO.

All of it looks good so far. Costume doesn't look much different than his avengers version just from first glance. I like the gold or bronze they added to it.

The silver chainmail now extends over his legs like the comics (with some leather covering it in spots)and his boots now cover his knees, like the comics.
This will be the version that represents Thor on my shelf when HT does him.

Looks more like a sequel to Snow White and the Hunstman than Thor.

Looking at the set pics, I'm not really getting that much of an "MCU/Thor" vibe; it seems more medieval than anything else. Maybe there's elements from the comics in the photos that I'm just not seeing (never read a comic book in my life)?

Regardless, seeing the pics has made my excitement for the film go down a little. But I'm still super-excited to see it in theatres.

I find that surprising considering your boardname, but I know there are realms in "Thor", and although I don't know the names offhand..atleast one of them is similar to a LotR kind of realm with elves and having a similar "look" to it.

Looks good, but I think his Avengers outfit is the best looking so far. Still, I can't wait for this movie! So far it all sounds awesome!

Oh and HT, pay attention to these pics... I want a Sif figure this time round!

I also agree that TA costume looks the best. This new outfit is cool too, but it lacks color.

Is the Nolan/Bale batsuit in TDK and TDKR the only superhero suit that stays the same in different movies? Yeesh. I liked Thor's suit in the original more than "The Avengers..." This one looks better than the one in "The Avengers." Something put me off on that one. Was it the lack of sleeves?
