When I saw Batman Live, the batmobile malfunctioned and they had to do the whole sequence over

Yeah, that sucks. When we saw How To Train Your Dragon, Toothless flew into the corner of the arena and stayed there right before the intermission. They had to crane the actors off and they canceled the rest of the show. The kids were bummed, but we got refunded and spent the $$$ on souvenirs, so the toys helped pad the disappointment. :lol

Just ordered our three tickets to the Thor Movie Marathon on November 7th! Going to be awesome seeing The Avengers on the big screen again. :)

Didn't see anything really spoilery. I scanned things though so not to mess anything. I still have fears they're going to do something stupid which was mentioned earlier in this thread.

They're going to do it; I read a complete rundown somewhere of 10-15 minutes of footage which was shown in Japan or Korea or somewheres, and yes it is coming.

I hope they fix it by the end of the movie then. Cause its really dumb otherwise and would knock the movie down a few pegs for me if they don't fix it.

Is it

getting his arm chopped off?

I reckon it'll be done for shock value and be retconned shortly after rendering it pointless to do in the first place.

I think so too... however I believe the following will happen in the movie and won't be able to be retconned (Hopefully I am wrong) :(

Thor's Mom dies defending Jane Foster from a bad guy

Don't worry, Papa Thanos got a magic glove that will make Thor's wishes come true. :lol

Why so much oppositon to the hand thing? What makes that hand so important that it must be left alone? :lol

Just seems like a stupid plot device to use. I mean he can take a beating from Hulk but Loki can easily cut his hand off. Just seems lame.

Thor is neither Tyr nor 90's Aquaman. :dunno

Wat?! But he looks exactly like 90's Aquaman :lol

Asgardian Blade maybe? Loki managed to stab Thor with those little daggers in Avengers :dunno

It's just a hand :lol

He did stab him. I just think its a lame plot device. Something about it rubs me the wrong way. It seems as dumb to me as if they took Stark's brain.

He loses it in the comics too though!

Oh wait, that's Aquaman, errr, Rick.
