I believe its real.
My understanding is that the destroyer is in the movie.
Branaugh said they just finished filming scenes in NM or AZ.
Those surroundings certainly look like the middle of bum___ Egypt.
Not to mention the after credit scene of Iron man.

If Paramount is saying to take it down then you have to believe it has something to do with the official production. Most movie studios do not bother with hoaxes and fanmade issues.

That's what I am thinking. Unless it is: a) an elaborate hoax staged by the production company; or b) Paramount realized that having people believe the fake image to be real will drum up interest.

Both of which are unlikely scenarios, IMO.

--edit: another possibility is that Paramount just doesn't want people getting the wrong idea from some fan-made image. This is probably most possible scenario after it being the real deal.--

I don't think they have the right to tell anyone to take it down if it was fan made. It's not their image to demand for it to be removed if that was the case.
