i think its a mistake to think the product is being improved on when it is delayed like this. if they are improving it you can be damn sure they will boast about that, say whats being improved and why its takin extra time. no way they would do that w/o saying so. its jut late cuz they have this issue where they have no idea whats goin on at factory. trust me as a long time 3A customer thats the case, not one of a improving product.

when they updated paint on ned they told/showed us same with ghost size. have no doubt what we saw at show is what we gettin. big boots an all.

Well, if it looks like garbage in person, it's an instant resell for me. I bought the exclusive, so hopefully it would sell for retail value.

If you couldn't sell it for at least 2x retail the day you get it (and for the foreseeable future), I'd be very surprised. If there isn't a glut of resales, I wouldn't be surprised if you could get 3x on eBay.

The sculpt doesn't look too bad. Though it doesn't look as strong as either Tyrion or Ned at the moment.

This late in the game that's probably the release fig right? Boots still look large.

I don't think the sculpt is a great Kit likeness but Jon Snow is my favorite character int he series so there was no question about ordering it. I have hope that I love it more in person, much like Tyrion. I hope Ghost turns out well, more concerned about him.

As for the delays, I think they would be better off giver a later date up front and if it comes early then everyone would be happy.

I think both Ned and Tyrion looked much better at production than in proto/convention appearances. I am hoping for the same on this guy. Also the lighting and display both when I saw him in person and in most shots I have seen are not helping any figure. Seems 3Zero gets the shaft and/or shaft themselves with convention displays.

Yeah, their display lights aren't doing them any favors.

But I bet there's a better sculpt lurking under that paint. I know he's a young guy, but that sculpt looks pretty soft. And I bet the paint has something to do with that.

Overall, I'm okay with it, but I'm sure it can look much better with a little TLC.

Are we certain it isn't the head that's too small, rather than the boots being too large? Boots are an odd thing to suddenly be out of scale after the Ned figure and all the figures from other lines.

The boots are too big, there's no uncertainty there. Ned's are too big and Heisenberg's shoes are also too big.

I've been wanting to commission Rocco to do a 3D sculpt for this, but I'm waiting to see the final product.

I get a feeling the XL shoes are a way to compensate for not including stands. It makes the figure more stable. It's becoming far too consistent.

Oversized boots are no excuse for not including a cheap stand. You can get those on Ebay for just a few bucks.

If they want to claim "realistic" they can't go around making everyone's feet jumbo because they're too cheap to include a stand.

The feet don't bother me on Ned and this figure too much but on Heisenberg they look really silly and take away from the figure. I would rather have normal feet on all the figures though, and if I need to use my own stands so be it. Stands can be made or bought.

And excessively large feet on these figures have nothing to do with stands. Next someone will argue that Hot Toys can never get a head sculpt right because they do include a stand. FFS.
