Threezero Game of Thrones - Daenerys Targaryen!

She arrived this morning. The head seems about 1:8 scale. Looks very strange alongside the others. Like a small child's head. I may stick with Sculpt4ever's head. The boots are very rigid, which doesn't help posing.

I think the scale and height is pretty good, Jaime and Clegane is a really big guy and Daenerys is small

I'm on the process of accepting the figure as is. Sure the proto looked miles better, and was pretty much fake advertising. But I'm digging the figure in pictures. At least is a pretty doll.

Mine too, since the 13th. It was supposedly a birthday gift for my wife last September but after the delay, I thought it's a nice Christmas gift. But now, I don't believe it will make it here in California before Christmas. Shame... Shame... Still pretty excited (for her).

The hair seems to either make or break the sculpt. If the hair is properly styled, the sculpt looks way better. I'm excited to see it in hand, just waiting for Sideshow.

The head does look undersized in that group pic. It seems some people are becoming more excepting. Don't know if it's wishful thinking or resignation. Lol

The proportions look perfectly fine to me. She may be a bit underscaled in general, but that seems to be a pretty common thing with female figures.

I remember reading somewhere that Emilia is around 5'2. Not sure about Peter's height. With a little calculus, a 1/6th scale of Emilia's height is rounded to 10.5 inches. The figure is 10.2 inches in height, so it's pretty much correct.

I'm not defending this but have you ever liked a threezero figure? Just curious because you are often kind of hard on them. They did make excellent fallout power armor figures if you haven't seen them.

He's hard on a lot of figures. I am so thankful that I am not as **** retentive as some collectors are. I can't see how some are happy with anything they collect.

I actually reviewed Tyrion pretty highly (except for his hands) so it made it extra disappointing that every release has dropped worse and worse quality wise. A company should get better not worse.

You can’t even blame the cheap price because a company like QMX who misses their fair share of the mark also hits it strong many times too. A comperable price and even comes with stands unlike these figures (though it can be argued that the intricacy of the outfits is where the money goes)

They should stick to their armored figures. I’m not an expert in those but what I’ve seen looked good.

I’ve also stated that I think hot toys has declined overall in quality, and no company is perfect but in my estimation aside from Hot Toys, Blitzway and the now seemingly defunt Enterbay are the only ones who are coming close to the hot toys level. The price reflects it yes, but when you are spending over 150 for a figure it becomes moot. You might as well just stick to NECA figures or the like. And a lisence as high quality and publically acclaimed as the Walking Dead and especially GOT deserve better treatment.

They knocked it out of the park with the prototype and not being able to deliver on that is truly shameful. You could almost argue it’s false advertisement.

Say what you will but I firmly believe that if something differs that strongly from the prototype on a hot toy in most cases it’s actuslly improved upon based either on customer input or their own desire to improve
