Well got the figure today, and not much to say that hasn't already been said. The outfit is nicely made, the hair looks great, and even the paint job on the head is a lot better in hand than I was expecting... but ultimately it comes down to that sculpt which just doesn't look nearly as good as it used to. :(

And you can definitely see how the head seems to have shrunken and narrowed when compared to the proto pics. I'll probably attempt a repaint, but it's still hugely disappointing that such an effort even has to be made to try to save this.

And normally I don't care much about the packaging, but the way my box was all beat to hell doesn't exactly inspire me to order any other Threezero figures.

Found the artist’s Instagram page - @soulfactoryogata.

Good find ladyshanz! Thanks :yess: More options to see the HS with different paint applications.

She does look much better with repainted eyes.

I find it pretty sad that 3zero only just started shipping Daenerys in December and I've seen her repainted by 2 artists already and probably with more repaints yet to come.

Thats a beautiful paint job, seeing it next to the ThreeZero one highlights just how ugly it is.

Yeah I think it's those weird, creepy eyes that are throwing it off the most.

Although even after a repaint you've still got that tiny undersized head to deal with. I almost need to find a separate area to display her in, since she looks completely out of scale with my other figures (even the undersized Rey!) and more like a 1/7 or 1/8 figure.

Im going to place her between Yoda and Tyrion to fix that problem mate.

Is it really that small? Why doesn't it look out of scale on the body? Can anybody show it next to a Hot Toys female like maybe WW or Ripley, only because I have those two.

Mine hasn't arrived yet, so I reserve my judgement until I have her in hand, but so far I don't see a problem with her scale. We all agree the actress is really short, and the figure is in the small side, but based on the pics we've seen, I don't think the size is a deal breaker. Also, the repaints and even some of the regular pics just confirm that the sculpt is there, and can be helped by the light or a good repaint. Can't wait to see her in hand, finally.

I'll try to take some pics tonight. The proportions don't look that bad on their own, and the overall height is fine, but even so the figure as a whole still looks weirdly small next to every other figure I have.
