I noticed the sculpt was a little undersized, and mismatched colored almost immediately. And I've seen the posts of Clarke's height and promotional pics for the show and that still doesn't help the fact that she looks off in my collection next to any figure. Whether it's threezero, Hot Toys, DID, Soldier story - you name it. She's off.

I got her today. I was excited to see her at first but when the excitement died down, why do I feel like I am owning a barbie doll of Daenerys?

But I agree the figure looks better in person

I think Photobucket doesn't work anymore, unless for people paying their subscription plan (which I don't), so I guess most people is not seeing your pictures. At least I can't.

Just a few comparison pics I took. It's when it's next to a HT figure that the head really starts to seem a bit out of proportion to the body to me. And the female HT heads are already fairly small to begin with, so if this is smaller than that...

Next to Leia (who's supposed to be an inch shorter than Clarke)

With a Rey head

And even next to short little Marty she seems small. Lol

I agree she looks too small. Leia is a tad taller than she should be, but still, she should look the same scale beside her. Thanks for the pics.

Got my 14-day notice from Sideshow. And from that pic with Leia, the whole figure seems underscaled.

Actors heights.

Carrie Fisher - 1.55 meters
Emilia Clarke - 1.57 meters
Michael J Fox - 1.64 meters

3zero Daenerys figure is not scaled correctly

ThreeZero really needs to fix their scaling issue, First is Jon (not to mention the clown feet and hands) then Danny with overall scale...

I see the pictures in the original post, but not in the posts when it's being replied to. Don't know what's up with that.

That is some fantastic futzing on Leia there. Is that the HT dress? Well done.

Dany look good, too. :)

Scaling isn't always consistent in this hobby anyway, tbh. There's probably quite a few figures throughout the years that aren't scaled correctly to their 1/1 real life counterpart BUT they look good among other figures on the shelf. I see that really being the problem here. She's out of scale among other figures and she's out of scale just as a stand alone figure because of the head. The sculpt became slightly deformed during the start of the production

And yes, that repaint earlier was quite good, especially the pictures in the later post. But for me personally I don't think I'd bother getting this sculpt a repaint. For one thing repaints aren't cheap, and depending who you ask to commission they can he considerably expensive. So if I'm getting a sculpt painted/repainted the base sculpture needs to be a slam dunk.

Obviously, a smaller person should have a smaller head. I don't think the head is out of scale to the body it is on, but I do think it is smaller than most other heads. I wanted to use the head to do a custom Genisys Sarah Connor. I already have a custom head, but thought this would be a better alternative.

Yeah that's my feeling as well. There's certainly nothing new with figures not being the right scale or height... but on this one I'm just finding that a whole lot more glaring and distracting than usual.

And I'm thinking now I'm just going to cut my losses and dump it on eBay. Because even if I can improve the paint job, I'm still stuck with a really undersized figure with a small head and a boring and plain outfit that I can't display next to any other figure I have.
