Hate to say it guys but we should have seen it coming.

Here is the latest picture of the figure from the china international comic festival, back in October.

sure, but compared to the first prototype in May / June. This is a major downgrade.

Granted can't really judge the figure until it's in my hands.

If that is a downgrade to you, you have some really high standards! ;)
I'm just happy someone is making 1/6 GOT figs, ao I don't have to display those horrible looking Funko figures.
For the prices of 1/6 high end figures, I feel comfortable under $170 with this line.

Personally, I think it is the prototype just with a better HOTK pin. :lol Either way, he looks better there than he does in the most previous pics with the packaging.

We're just going to have to wait and see with this one.

I personally can overlook the hands. If hes holding the book or chalice, its not a dealbreaker for me.

The HS is the most important, and that photo is extremely disappointing. I ordered the EX, so mine is already paid for. No backing out.

Oh well.. hope for the best i suppose. I will probably be among the first to have it on hand. I'll upload pics when i get it.

I don't think anyone is being tough at all. The newest pic sucks. I haven't seen anyone going overboard. At least not yet. :lol Anyway, if he looks like he does in the above pic from that convention I'll be very happy.

The face does look wider in the production piece and I can't understand why the sculpt would have been changed considering it looked great before.

Sometimes something gets lost between prototype to production piece.

However, I think this figure will be one of those that look a lot better in hand than in pictures.

I'm still optimistic... the lighting to that picture is a bit harsh.

The Hot Toys DX Luke has tought me one think, wait for multiple in hand pics until you judge. Because the first round of pictures made the figure look horrible, however, as more and more received the figure, new pictures proved his worth.

At least it can't be as bad as the sideshow nathan drake. Headsculpt wise That was one of my most recent crap figure straight out of the box. Hell even in the box it looked horrible.

Exactly. If it looks like the convention pic, i'm perfectly happy as well.

Yes, the early DX07 Luke pictures were also terrible, among with some other HT figures like Avengers Black Widow... taken in an over lighted enviornment through a display glass.

The Tyrion photo was taken at a photo shoot. The paint and details are not they problem, its the width of his face. That i can't see being a lighting problem. I'm gonna be more then happy to be wrong about this.

I need to see more/better pics. Lighting can actually make things look fatter/flatter, so it's a bit hard to tell at this point.
