This may be the only line that I'd be a completist.

Back in that the days before show I had thought it an impossibility to have 1/6 figures from ASOIAF. Then the show came out and it was a hit, and now all kinds of stuff is available. 1/6 figures being at the very top of the list for me. :rock

I give you credit if you can draw the line at just one.

Credit for this incredible restraint comes courtesy of my meagre bank balance :lol

...even so, my collection is generally that way, one-character-per-film - or if there's a distinct villain I'll bite on a pair. The only exception to this has been Star Wars, but even that's just four figures from a cast of dozens.

Without ever seen the show, I immediately recognised Peter Dinklage.

And this is not even the final product?

Can't believe I'm just learning about this. :thud:

I'm definitely in for every figure as long as the likeness is there.

My two must-haves would be an armored Tywin and armored Robb with Grey Wind.

I guess I'm not really expecting Hot Toys level sculpting... I'd be happy with the head sculpt they posted, although I'm surprised they went for such a dark color for the hair. ANY reference photo of Tyrion shows him sporting his signature gold Lannister locks.

And I think I might be the only one who is disappointed that he was sculpted without his Blackwater scar. Perhaps they are planning a second Tyrion somewhere down the line since he will have that scar for the rest of the series.

Well that will certainly keep anyone in line. :goodpost:

I think the likeness is great, although it's always the way I think it looks fantastic until I get here and then everyone points out the most minimal flaws and then the thought of great slowly diminishes. :lol

I will buy it pending price, I'm really excited for this line and hope they all do well but it'll depending on overall look. If I can tell it's Tyrion from a far then that is usually good enough for me but if it's overpriced then it becomes more of an issue.

The only ones that are surefire locks are Ned, Jon and Ghost (I really hope they do Ghost) and Dani but past that it'll really depend on how the figure finishes.

Really curious about this line… not sure if I'll buy them… I love the show, but I feel I've been priced out of the 1/6th hobby… :monkey2

That sucks man, I've been feeling like this. Between diverting money to new hobbies and feeling like I need to box up something else just to get something new because I'm out of space.

I think I'm just going to be more "choosey" (is that a real word) in the future and only collect whats dear to me. As much as I'd love to have tons of cast from this series, I think I'm going to be strict in sticking with my favored few.

Looks a bit like the guy from Dexter to me... I will still be in if they give him a nice costume and accessories. I would get Tyrion, Arya, Jon and Dany for sure if they look good.

That's cool, thought its not for me. I bet you have a really diverse collection. I couldn't do a single license collection like some people. I thought you were only a casual fan Star Wars though?

I was wondering why I hadn't seen you here. :lol I think a lot of people missed it initially.

Yeah, even for an early prototype the dark hair is definitely a head scratcher.

In 100% for this line. Now take my money already.

That's something worth brining up actually as a lot of people in the Walking Dead thread weren't used to the idea. But ThreeZero takes payment upfront when you pre-order. Its not a wait and see like most people are used to with Sideshow and Hot Toys. I personally like it since you get payment out of the way and by the time the figures show up they seem free :lol

Wonder if we'll get Dire Wolves

Well, in one of those teaser we saw a small pic all the way to the right-lower corner of an unpainted dragon head. Whether it was a cast or a computer mock up i don't know, but it shows they're willing to outside the bounds of just the human characters. If we get dragons, then I say we get direwolves.

Really curious to know what season those dragona will be. They were getting big in season 3. :lol

Honestly, I'd want season 1 dragons. That way they sit on Dany's shoulder, hands and /or curl around her legs.

I imagine they would be season 1/2 sized Dragons. They were quite big in season 3. The little dragons just make for nice accessories. I don't see them being able to do the wolves as easily. They are much bigger than Snake Eye's Timber. They might still do them, but they would either be a separate release or maybe a larger exclusive.

Price wise I think this line will be more expensive than the TWD $130.00 per piece price. The costumes will be much more detailed than TWD especially if armor is included. None the less I'm sure they'll be cheaper than HT's pricing. Wonder when preorder will start? This spring?
