That could be the correct scale as 19" seemed a bit much. Most people seem to refer to the supposed 1:1 replica chair specs, but who knows how accurate those are.

I sat on the Iron throne during a GOT exhibition once, I'm an average height adult male and I looked way more comfortable in it than what Tyrion looks in those pictures :lol I asume Ned wouldn't fit too well then. The wait for an official 1/6 throne continues.

As I write this post I found some interesting pictures regarding the iron throne.

Look at Harrington chillin on that sword chair!

WTF?! :lol

I sat on one as well. It was more the size of the first picture because there was a lot of room to sit. That second throne looks way too way too small.

Really? I haven't seen it yet, but really? :(

I'm going to be pissed off now.

edit: not mad at you people of course, but after watching the show.

I never liked Stannis anyway. And I've always hated Aryia too. Not that she has any reason to be hated more after last episode like Stannis.

Next week's episode, which I'm sure will be the last scene, is going to drop a lot of jaws too it's going to be a hard year wait to see how it all plays out. Especially since the incident I refer to is where the last book left off so no one, beyond speculation of fans, knows how it will play out.

Yeah that cliffhanger has been killing me since I read the book.

You hate Arya? Why?

Stannis has been a useless character since he was first introduced, dull and completely unlikable - the show has done a great job at showing him to be entirely inept when it comes to absolutely everything. His right hand, Ser Davos, is the complete opposite, love that character. The few of Stannis' scenes that are remotely enjoyable are so only because of the other players (but he still managed to toss a heavy wet blanket).

I'm pretty confident we'll never see a Stannis figure, even if this line went 20 figures deep. I'd personally rather see 10+ versions of every other character instead. ;)

^ Stannis is far more amusing in the book. Though I've never been "rooting" for him or anything. I'm really curious what Davos will do now. He'll be crushed.
If that doesn't make him lose faith in his king than nothing will. Speaking of which, I can't imagine all those men staying Stannis loyalist after last night's little......drama. Of course deep fear of the Melisandre may help keep those knees bent. [emoji38]

And to make matters even worse it's not like that heart wrenching decision was to ensure final victory for the Iron Throne. This is just to win a ****ing battle against the Boltons! [emoji38] He's still faaaar away from Kingslanding.

Can't stand Arya either. [emoji38]
What is wrong with you two?! [emoji38]

What bugs me the most about this season's character portrayal actually applies to entire groups of characters. The Unsullied and Second Sons have practically been made into Imperial Stormtroopers wrt their level of incompetence. This probably has more to do with production rather than writing, but still. Make the odds an order of magnitude more extreme if we're supposed to believe they go down so easily against foes who have no combat training whatsoever and are so ill-equipped with weapons.

They are navigating in uncharted territory now that they've starting to deviate from the books in all kinds of ways. It's now that the TPTB of the show needs to prove they have that great feel of the whole book universe that it has been said they have from very beginning. Every article I read and every television snippet mentions it without fail.

Yeah this has been my main problem with the season as well. In both Selmy scene and last night they were just fodder with no skills. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE STRONGEST FIGHTING FORCE!

The Unsullied and the Second Sons are stormtroopers on vacation and the Harpie are Ewoks sent from Endor to track them down and destroy them once and for all!

How much does the iron throne weigh?

Just wondering if my glass shelf can support it. The description says 980g which would roughly covert to 2 lbs - if that's correct, this would weigh significantly less than the original Dark Horse version. Looks like the Hero Club throne does not have the base either, which may partially explain the difference in weight.

I'm on the fence. I'd rather get the licensed version but due to the scarcity and price of the Dark Horse, the Hero Club is probably my only realistic alternative. Looks pretty good from all the pictures but it's hard to tell without a hands-on. Was hoping you could shed a little more insight about the item.

Would you recommend it?

based on this last episode....
So who's down for a Shireen "blood of a king" action diorama set?
