I just picked up Jon snow for 120 from entertainment earth. I also really like the funko 6 inch figures. I've found a few for 4 dollars and they are very nice.

I hope they get around to making a Hodor figure. But until that time, I made one. I made the clothing, fatsuit and Peter the painter sculpted the head, which I painted.

I'm running out of adjectives to express my feelings on all these great GoT customs, zebraten.lol What can I say, I love him. One of my favorites ,I think. A wonderful sculpt by Peter and you've done a swell job at the outfit. Well done!

I know I've said it before, but when it comes to customs, and the customs sub-forum in general, this is really the stuff I get off on. Rainman, Iminime, all those guys are top notch artists, but there is something about this stuff I really get a thrill from. I kinda miss when the custom section was predominantly like this.

Not a chance of happening with the way in which Threezero is wasting this license, but they could release a Tywin Lannister on full armor that would not only look amazing:

but also double as a different version of Jamie:

They could be doing this ^(getting use out of outfits already done) for Night's Watch guys since Jon's basic uniform is the same for all of them.

I guess I need to find somebody to sculpt and paint a Sam,Gren, Pip and Ed head. I love Knights Watch part of the show the most. AND start stocking up on Jon's outfit.

I'm with you, Fiend. The customs section doesn't get any love nowadays. It's pretty sad when Elvis1976 posts a new custom figure and nobody says anything.

Thanks for the kind words about my figure!

So I got the jon snow figure in the mail today. My first impression is it's ****. Second impression is it smells like motor oil, I'm going to assume the plastic tray plus the heat leeched all over the figure. I'm not impressed with anything on the figure. The clothes are too baggy, cloak looks and feels wrong, sword is complete garbage. My funko 6 inch figures have better made swords. And we all know the boots, gloves and head sculpt are trash. This will most likely be getting returned to entertainment earth.

Is Jons Winterfell armour in S6 the same as Neds?

It's very similar to what Ned wears in King's Landing in the 1st season. However, the 3A Ned figure iswearing a completely different costume (it's as Ned appears in Winterfell). I don't think what Jon is wearing now has much in common with what the 3A Ned figure is wearing

Yes, it's called a coat of plates. And I want one badly for Ned.

I'm hyped for the next episode and have been looking forward to it since filming. Buuut just from pictures and the trailer I can't help but plainly see that nearly no one on Jon's side is wearing armor.lol I mean they didn't give Jon anything besides the CoP.lol I can't begin to tell you how absurd this is. It really takes me out of the the story. Basically, Jon's army would be ground beef for Ramsays. I would have loved to have seen Jon in the armor similar to, or the same as Robb's. One of my previous complaints is that people rarely wears helmets, or that armor was incomplete but also understanding why, and could live with it in most circumstances. But this really stretches credulity.....it's frankly ridiculous. It looks like Ramsay isn't wearing any either.lol

No problem. Keep 'em coming. That's a pity about Elvis' post, but that's fairly common with a lot of the do-it-yourselfers. Keep up the unique, creative and excellent figures coming!

This new Coomodel Richard the Lionheart sculpt( and crown for that matter) would make a great book Stannis. It ain't perfect but it's fairly close. In fact I think most of the figure could be converted to a Stannis. Maybe that tabard could be turned inside out and a flaming heart with stag could be put on. Or just make one from scratch. It shouldn't be hard.

I would happily buy another Jon Snow if they updated the head sculpt, hair tied back, and new cloak.

I'd rather get more characters than get bogged down in variants of characters we already have. Far too many characters to get to to justify variants right now.
