She'll look ok displayed on her own, I think., but that's not how I display my figures.

Thank you for that. Disappointing, as I was beginning to talk myself into accepting the simple white dress look, but this comparison shows much more at issue here.

Guess I'm holding for yet another Dani. I had a feeling this out-of-nowhere 3Z offering was not something they worked on very hard. I mean, look at that pinhead...

Holy hell...is Cersei oversized or is Dani incredibly undersized? Was going to order her once some rewards points converted but jeez, that's pathetic. I hope Sansa doesn't turn out like that or I'm going to regret hopping into this line.

Daenerys in the problem. Cercei is more in scale with the rest of the line. Her height can be fixed. That can't be done with Daenerys.

It fits. I think the ball joint for the new one is slightly smaller making this a tighter fit but it works.

Everything on the new Dany looks cheap except for maybe the sculpt and dragon necklace. That sculpt does look OK on the old Dany figure. On to the next one for me, hopefully V2 Arya looks good when it drops.

Wow. In real life Lena Headey is only a couple inches taller than Emilia Clarke. And Lena Headey is only about 5'5".

The size difference between Dany and Cersei is absolutely absurd and proves the this company really doesn’t care about the product it puts out. If almost forgive it if the new Dany was the proper scale I’d be like ok they learned the scale of the line after Cersei. But no, not only are they too lazy to fix it they go and make it even worse. It’s insane.

But Joffrey was a giant, Jamie way too short Cersei too tall. Anyways all that can be fixed. Cersei’s hot topic goth platform boots are actually accurate meaning that would get her up to at least 5’8 she shouldn’t be the same size as Ned stark though but I was able to give her shorter hot toys calves and it fixed her right up.

Like scully Dany is completely unsalvageable. Scully was actually one of the most insane **** ups I’ve ever seen in this hobby it was utterly shocking... after that I just don’t know how this company can continue to mess up so bad. Arya who’s supposed to be a 12 year old girl’s head is larger than Dany’s head. Thank god she’s in the proper scale at least.

Would ankle extenders possible help fix the Dany? I'm assuming a body swap won't work since the clothes won't fit right anymore, but maybe ankle pegs to give the figure some more height might make a difference?

From the photos posted it looks like the new sculpt should work fine for Dany in the earlier seasons when Clarke was younger and her face was a bit rounder. However, in the later seasons her face was thinner and more defined around the chin and cheekbones.

I've checked quickly on youtube, and it seems to me that even in first season it was not that round. In fact, what gives me more likeness on the v1 is that it has that more defined chin and cheekbones. v2 seems to have better paint to me, but this round face looks to me a more idealized version - like the Blitzway statue.

Strangely, I liked the white dress and was thinking on buying it (I'm not that fan of the dark look, so not really looking forward to the later season one), but the fact they made the scale mistake again, pushes me away from buying it.

And I don't like their Sansa either - it seems to have some resemblance on the actress, but not enough for me - considering that the final product will be worse. Threezero seem to have problem with female sculpts... Even though I'm a big GOT fan, I might pass that one too, even that I have most of the figures . (And I'm afraid how will end up a later season Dany, TWD Maggie, or Stranger Things Eleven... )

PS. I just went back a couple of pages for the v1 pictures by Hidden-place... Worth comparing. They might used the exact same frame... I still say it was not that bad, it should be a tiny bit rounder, but not that much...

Agreed. It's pretty unforgivable at this point. I think I'm a pretty fair guy when it comes to these companies. I take as much context into consideration when I critique these things. Like the size of the company, how long it's been around, price, customer service, etc. Dany V1 was the first time that I've bought a figure from a company and I really felt they dropped the ball so much that they needed to make it right by making all new head sculpts and sending them out. And the response I got was utter crap. The whole " factory figure will be slightly different from the prototype". Like, yeah, we got that. But that was NOT what happened with Daenerys. That head was jacked up. So I was already kind of peeved about the last one.....and then they do this. Mostly all the same problems. Granted, it's a better, and prettier, head sculpt, but its FREAKIN' small - as is the rest of the damn figure. It's way underscaled. To the degree it can't be fixed. Not if you want her displayed with the rest of the GoT crew. I like to be charitable, and give these places ( and people) the benefit of the doubt, but you're right. I can't see this as anything other than not giving a s***. No way should these figures be this out of wack. Especially after the criticisms they got last time. WTF. Now I know we can't depend on them to deliver next time they announced a new Daenery.

After seeing this latest round of pics I’m probably going to cancel Dany and hope ThreeZero fixes the issues with a S7/S8 release. While the portrait is nicer than the 1.0 the scale and height problems when compared to Cersei are ridiculous. You would think TZ would line these figures up as they are developing the line to ensure consistency of scale, balance, and aesthetic. That’s just quality control 101. I don’t know how they can release figures that are so far off and charge $200. I’ll just hold on to the 1.0 and redirect the $ elsewhere.

This all seemed like a quick cash grab from the start. Dany 2.0 is suddenly up and ready to be delivered. Impulse sales. Whatever 3Z needed the cash for I hope it was worth the distaste they put in people's mouths for it.

Aside from Transformers, Threezero haven't made anything really mind-blowing this year yet. Their likenesses are getting better but they still need that God tier sixth scale license.
