That sculpt actually looks really good. Perhaps a touch too pale but that might be the lighting/filter on the picture. I'm really liking how that came out. Hopefully Arya and Sansa follow suit and ThreeZero gets back on track.
Yep, this one looks like its from the winning team. A relief after the Dani 2.
I wasn't really going to get this as I want to save room for more Starks... but I can't see passing this up now.

As far as the Starks - Tormund is Jon Snow's best friend and eventual right hand man. Can't think of a better character to place with the Stark display.

A Wildling is needed for Jon that's for sure. I've been revisiting GoT... just started Season 5 yesterday. Jon and Tormund are not yet friends... but soon.
Tormund is unusual enough to look unique in the GoT display, and he does represent the Wildlings very well.
He is a character that I wanted, like Davos, but I had to start cutting somewhere. Ultimately, Davos got the ax because as much as I like the sculpt, the outfit to me looks cheap and not very accurate... and it would take way too much work to make it look right. But Tormund, other than the neck piece, the entire outfit looks very good.

If I buy him I would probably put him on my modest display of the Night King and two Walkers. The shelf beyond the wall...
I was going to skip Tormund and keep my little GoT display... well, little. But he looks fantastic in those pics. I guess I can display him with Night Watch Jon.
And timing is perfect as I just finished my Crow Jon Snow... until I can find a suitable head...
He looks fantastic. I was thinking of trying my hand at adding faux hair to this sculpt but don't want to risk damaging it. So I may experiment with another one first and then, maybe, try it on the aftermarket sculpt.

I think I got his fur a little... well, furry. Need to slick that down a bit after watching the show again. And as much as I love the cape, the outfit underneath is so good he actually looks better without the cloak.
I would love to hair that head but I'm certain I'd mess it up. I'm looking for a finished haired head, hopefully one will turn up one day... in the meantime the OSK head is very nice just the wrong hairstyle for this version of Jon.

I am thinking to root the hair as well but I don't have the courage to do it yet

Ygritte was a much better character than Tormund but I don't have any confidence that threezero would be able to make a good sculpt of her unfortunately.
I have the identical setup but gave him the metal sword. (letter opener?)
What gloves and boots did you guys use to replace the stock ones? I can definitely see the improvement.
I used the Season 8 Jon Snow boots and gloves and belt and body. Just had to paint them black, and weather the boots a little.
All the Jons here look fantastic.
And I agree, I don't think 3Z will make Ygritte, nor would they do her justice. With the line-up of figures they have already announced, they are all set for the next two years. Not sure what they might tease in 2022 for 2023.
