Just a Tyrion would work just fine I think, so would a Ned. Threezeeo knows this, that's why they started the line with those two.

Ah, gotcha. Tbh, that is my greatest fear. That they won't sell enough to warrant many other characters. I know the show is a smash etc. but its a fear.

Me too. Which is why I hope they take as much advantage of the timing of the TV show as they can. Hopefully they don't blow it.

Hopefully the price is reasonable, as this looks pretty good. It would be cool to see a Tyrion with his scar on his face. Also, him in his battle armor from "Blackwater"

Excited to see how Ned turns out. I'm not worried about the show losing it's fan base. This seems to have impacted the culture in a way few TV shows have.

Fiend you should make a list of how many lists you've made of figures you want. :lol

I think Bronn stands a much better chance of being made than King Robert. His popularity has grown quite a bit.

I get what you're saying, but as long as the show keeps getting renewed and has good ratings I don't think we have anything to worry about, regardless if were in the middle of a season or not.

I'd rather not.

I'd love both figures and while Bronn is popular I'd be surprised if we got him. Maybe if the line is still going 10 or so figures from now maybe....maybe.

He'd be a great companion piece with Tyrion. :)

My sources tell me the figures in the pipeline after Tyrion and Ned are (in no particular order) Jamie, Jon Snow, Daenerys, Drogo and a White Walker. Sales of those, of course would drive whether or not we get anything beyond that. I know they'll get my money for that line-up. :lol

While it may seem illogical from a layperson's perspective, the size of the body isn't going to have much impact on the final price tag. The cost of a mold is still really expensive, especially with all the parts in an articulated body. It's still going to be huge mold. You're talking about maybe $35k instead of $40k, now divide that difference over 2000 pieces, and it's not really significant at all. You're still using up a ton of labor putting all the parts together, sanding off the seamlines, etc. Realistically, if I were threezero, I would give Tyrion more accessories than I would for other characters just to get the price to a point that I was happy with (as a manufacturer).

Having said all that, even if they start at $150 now, they'll be $175 by the end of the year, so it's all irrelevant. People want more better things, and more better costs more money.

Sounds like a very sound line up. ThreeZero is making logical choices.

I'm curious to see what dress they will go with on Daenerys. I'm assuming it will be one that would go well with their planned Drogo. However I much rather see her wearing a more ornate outfit when she is the Mother of Dragons and sacking Astaphor, Yunkai or Meereen.

Hope we see a head sculpt of Ned soon.

Jaime, Snow and Dany are bought. White Walker definitely is not, and Drogo I'd have to think about. The Dothraki are revolting to me.

Drogo has an interesting and fierce look so I think people will buy, but there are other characters that I wany done first.

I'll buy all of those, then again I'll buy anything 1/6 scale Game of Thrones. Just please make the Hound before it's all said and done

Excellent point - companies like Asmus can make LotR figures so cheaply because they source bodies from other companies. But if they had to sculpt and tool their own like HT, SSC and apparently ThreeZero - that adds a lot to the cost of a figure.

I'm going to crawl in a corner and cry if the next post in here isn't a link to the Tyrion pre-order page.

I hope they are holding Tyrion's pre-order until
The end of the current season in order to conceal his full set of accesories, some of them that could be seen as spoilerific *wink* *wink*
Still the fact that his headsculpt lacks the scar makes it unlikely but a man can dream.

Sorry to make you go crawl into a corner and cry Thwei.

^ Thats actually a cool idea. I hadn't thought of that. That will actually fill out the accessory list much better.

Think this will be the next line I get into - as long as there is promise for Oberyn. He's stealing this season for me.
