I think Tyrion did well, at least as far as PO. The site slowed to a snails pace and now we have Ned with Snow and Jaime announced. Lets just hope he comes out look good. I cant wait. Tbh, I haven't been this excited for a figure in a while now.

Have both on preorder....looking forward to Jaime as well. I hope they expand on this line past what's rumored.
I just pre ordered Tyrion. I'm looking forward to getting the figure. Depending on that one, I might order Ned and the rest as well.
^ Thats just it isn't it. As excited as I am for this release we have no idea how this will flesh out in production. He's my most anticipated figure so I hope he comes out well. Is this threezeros first human release in the relative present? I know they've been around for the better part of a decade so I dont know what they did several years ago......

We must have seen a production level piece already right? What they showed in NY recently was definitely different than some of what's been displayed in the past and I can't imagine this close to release they wouldn't already have a number of production pieces ready.
Exactly. I've only collected Hot Toys for the last couple of years and I pretty much have a good idea what to expect when pre-ordering one of those. But I am not familiar with Threezero or ThreeA for that matter. So what I want to know before deciding to get more of this line is how good the final likeness is, the fit, materials and overall feel of the clothing, the sturdiness of the figure etc. So this is a wait and see type of thing.
But so far things are looking good!

Not having seen any in hand pics of Tyrion is directly the reason I have not paid for a Ned exclusive. I'll be bummed to miss out on Ice if Tyrion turns out well, but I just don't want to be $300+ deep into the line and find out the QC is garbage or something. I was willing to take the risk on Tyrion, but not throwing down non-refundable full payments up front for anymore until Tyrion is released.

Of the two figures, the Tyrion at conventions has looked better, at least to me, than the Ned that has been on display at convos. I obviously hope they both turn out excellent.

As of a few days ago, I was told November 3 was the end of the pre-order for Ned, and the expected shipping "date" for Tyrion was November, soooooo. . .

Sounds ridiculous, I know, but Im a pretty hardcore fan of ASOIAF. Im praying they come out on top though. I have a grave feeling the hands will NOT come out on top though. November, huh?

At the end of the day, not to worry, Tyrion will definitely be in hand before any other characters are available for sale and before Ned sells out everywhere (but yeah, probably missing the other sword).
ThreeZero, above all others, is keeping the flame burning hot for me in 1/6 this year. That's pretty significant in my eyes, considering the very nice looking Star Wars releases from Sideshow and now Hot Toys.

Yeah, I missed out on the SE, and saw the reg going for around £99 from OSB (without shipping included). I just recently found out you can import some figures from Amazon Japan and found this a deal too good to pass up. You pay for shipping and customs tax and they send it via fedex or dhl and it arrives in like 3 days...
Again £83 all inclusive is a steal.
On the other hand Amazon Japan says they can't ship Ned to me, so I'm hoping it's not a glitch...
