I hope they get around to doing the black color scheme and I might consider picking it up to go along with the original ED209.

You see the black versions literally for like a second in the movie. They look equally badass though. Ugh, can't wait for the original, April hurry up!

ED-209 has close to no screen time in the film which is to bad because it's a good design, would have liked to have seen more of it.

I think you misread what he wrote. He was saying that the suit should be clean and not with paint chips or dirt.

oooohhhhhhhhhh well if that's what he meant then yes, he's right, I haven't seen up close picks, are these dirty looking?

The black suit definitely shows weathering on it which I do not prefer. I can't see the silver one up close enough to tell what's going on with that one.

i think that stand is only a temp, as the one on display is still a proto. i highly doubt that would be necessary in the final product as that would look ghastly if required to display him.

ED-209 gets a lot more screen time in this version than it did in the original and the things are all over the place, I don't think you ever see less than two of them together.

New Movie:
  • Opening sequence is a nice long build up with two of them on patrol and then in combat.
  • Omnicorp Manfacturing Plant (black version) there are two guarding the loading docks. Another two during Robo's attempted escape (when they can't shoot him) and another two in the short sequence where vehicles are moving around.
  • Omnicorp Detroit HQ, one is visible on guard duty from the windows and when Robo launches his bike at it. Then Robo's big fight with three of them and when Lewis blocks them.

Old Movie:
  • Boardroom Scene, one ED-209 which malfunctions.
  • Jones' Office, One fights with Robo and falls down the stairs.
  • Outside OCP HQ, one which Robo blasts in half with a rifle.

Yeah I agree with you. There was definitely more of them used in this film then the original.

god damn! look how massive he is! that dude on the background is a great reference for scale. it looks really impressive. this is getting bumped up to the for sure list if the final pics look just as impressive.

I don't think Tyrion is a good scale reference :monkey3

:lol

My god, this is awesome! Are there any updates as to release dates and pricing?

I will get the new ED-209 and the robocop and robot figures from threezero.

i definitely get this if it is sold freely on ebay and is in scale with original ED. his head is more terminator hunter-killer than robocop universe, and iii like it.

I am waiting for more info too. Just saw this movie last weekend and I thought it was very well done. The new ED design is nice enough for me to want it. But his scale is definately not 1/6. These were huge in the movie. He looks more like 1/12, maybe even 1/16.
