And the biggest complainer about the thread getting derailed - has derailed the thread.

Here's hoping there's some news soon - maybe out of New York Comic Con.

In fact it is not that much derailed. The general topic has simply changed from "everybody being enthusiastic about this line" to "people worry that the line might end before it has really started".

So yes, it would be best dor ThreeZero to show something asap. NYCC or the start of S 5 might be their last chance before people completly lose their hope...

It's about the environment which seems a bit hostile. We have a rep from a company who's manufacturing a product for a license we've been chomping at the bit for, and how is he thanked? *********s promoting those who're stealing money from his company (bootleg/custom figures) vs. talking about his product. Not the kinda place I'd want to happily post about product in, let alone try to work with that same community to develop a better product. And though it's cleaned up now, there were pages and pages of that garbage in this thread.

TWD, BrBa, Hell on Wheels are all AMC gold mines, but yet we get stuff by Neca and 6" from McFarlane if we are lucky. There is literally billions of dollars being lost every year on merchandise, could you imagine Disney not letting Sideshow and Hot Toys produce any Marvel or Star Wars Character? There are a LOT of die hard Deadheads chopping on the bit for anything. The McFarlane Lego TWD set look great but seriously what demographic are they hitting there, I think its too mature for 10 and under and I think its too young for 20 and over, that definitely leaves a small margin. Maybe they are hoping that with such little product out there people will be forced to buy the sets just to have anything Walking Dead that's new??

It really is a shame. People chose to attention-whore their bootlegs in an officially licensed product thread with absolutely zero respect for the company who picked up the license and was actually conversing with us about product development. It's disgraceful and just further shows how little people respect boundaries nowadays.

I think in order to get back on track, Three Zero should release this Special Edition Fig ON Oct 12. It will come with season 1,3, and 5 sculpts and 3 changes of clothes and be priced at $99.99.

Unfortunately, if memory serves, I don't think Shane was a possibility at least in the near future. Something to do with focusing on Season 3+ only (current characters).

Characters like Glenn, Dale, T-Dog, Andrea, Laurie, Maggie and even Hershal and Tyrese are more or less a cherry on the cake.
