Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

I know 3 zero doesnt owe any of of a legal duty but idont think it's unfair to heap on some serious criticism when you communicate directly with ppl on the boards and leak pictures of WIP figures only to disappear, go quiet, and release nothing. They raised the expexctations on themselves. So In my book they opened the door and the rotten tomatoes being slung are well earned. And then at what point does it go from "we'll post an update when we have one" to "it's been so long now this line was dead before it ever really got started"?

Also consider how many of us may be stuck with pet zombies and no one else? How would have just bought the pets without the hope of more figures? Or at least michonne?

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

Criticism for a lack of product release is fair and well earned, IMO, but not for not giving more behind the scenes or progress updates and certainly not some of the over-the-top comments we've seen here and on FB, which are the equivalent of the tomato-throwing just mentioned.

This is the whole problem with trying to play buddy-buddy with fans by showing them behind the scenes and work in progress - some people are going to twist that around and they'll end up being the loudest and most obnoxious voices, eating away at all the positive word of mouth and goodwill the company has been earning. For every business there is one solution, and it isn't giving out more information, it's giving out less - shutting off the tap to behind the scenes previews and info. Everyone loses out.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

Sneak peeks or not, the criticism is well deserved
It's like they have one guy employed, doing all the work

When were the pets released again?

Customers have the ultimate recourse - don't buy the products.

But as much as some people think Threezero deserves criticism, I think it's the jokers posting the hyperbole and BS, wasting everyone's time that deserve the ire of fans who are trying to enjoy the hobby, the forum and even FB.

Different strokes for different folks. BTW, you should check out Threezero's FB page to find out how much they actually produce - and don't forget that they also co-develop and manufacture the 3A stuff.

Honestly - not just the fact that these are not coming out soon that disappoints me! More importantly - I am yet to see a sculpt that really screams accuracy from their side- Jon snow (????), Walter white (????)!
As for Jesse hmm that clothing set is like I said 5 years behind!
I don't expect Rick to be a remarkable feet. Now even if all these hurdles are crossed - we still don't know how these will fair compared to hot toys (overall) and some customs (which are way way more accurate on the sculpt and clothing part)

So I am not even really waiting for these anymore! If something pleasantly surprising comes along I may pick up but ... Overall a massive "does not matter"

No excuse. If they cannot handle that much work then they should not get involved in that much work.

What insight do you have to indicate they can't handle the work? Do you know someone there? By all appearances, and the point I was making, is that they release a ****-tonne of stuff on a regular basis.

Not sure how voicing some frustrations is ruining collecting for others
I have seen what they are putting out and unfortunley, none of it are from the lines I'm interested in(twd and robocop )

That's fair, I'm just suggesting you check it out, even if you're not interested for your own collection. They make some really cool and elaborate stuff, most of which I don't want for my personal collection either - but it's all nice to look at. Titanfall, TMNT, etc.

i like their end products hence the frustration :D

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

Two years ago, in SDCC:

And it hasn't even been released!

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

The most frustrating part of this for me is how screwed up their priorities seem to be. Titanfall is a steaming pile of failure of a video game. TWD is a record shattering TV show. It would be like hot toys saying "great we finally have the star wars license, but its going on the back burner indefinitely". "We are up to our arses in sleepy hollow and sucker punch figures to make".

:exactly: :goodpost:

But hey it's good for those 10-20 people that will buy the Titanfall figures. It just sucks for the other thousands of people waiting on the WD line.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

Here's how I look at it. I want TWD figures, but I'm not "waiting" for anything as there are plenty (too many) figures to buy as it is, including others from Threezero. When they get released, they get released. There's no interest being lost by the delay because for every person that says "forget it I'm tired of waiting" there's a new customer that will come along.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

And the customers that said "forget it I'm tired of waiting" will most likely come right back when something is shown.

That would be me. Totally tired of waiting, thats why I have purchased a fantastic custom lately. However I will definitly buy the figures if/when they are released. Summed up: I AM TIRED OF WAITING!

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

If this line would have been released on a more consistent basis beginning two years ago, I might be all in, but with this delay, I have moved on to other priorities that bump this out of the way. I really hope all of you get the figures you have been wanting for so long sooner rather than later. I think they will be made, I just don't understand what is taking so long.
