I thought it was already mentioned that 3Zero were focusing on releasing figures with closer expiring licenses, so tWD figures were pushed back a bit, no?

i understand why 3Z pushed it back if the license isnt goin to expire etc focus on projects that will, trust 3Z know wht they are doin but still feel for those waiting here, show them sumthin soon at least. thats alot of lonely pets out there.

interested in seeing how they do michonne. will her arms be seemless or not? all that. will it look so good even someone like me not wanting to collect 1/6 TWD be tempted? we will see i guess. in time. in... time.

With respect to 3Zero's timing for figure releases, I wouldn't assign any significance to new seasons of the show. Even if that kind of timing makes sense, new seasons of The Walking Dead have come and gone without updates, so there's no correlation between new seasons and new figures.

On the contrary, as others have said, with each new season some characters become less and less attractive to collectors because we're so far removed from when the characters were relevant/popular. Just in case anyone from 3Zero reads this: I'm not one of those people. Give me any character from the show no matter how long they've been dead and I'll buy it.

This is the difference between a collector and a mass-market shopper. There's no denying that there can be overlap, but frankly, I'd expect that most of the customer base for Threezero and many other figure companies lie squarely in the collector camp. The majority of 1/6 products come out after, sometimes long after, the licensed property. So for me, if I like the character and the resulting figure, I don't care whether they're on the current season, nor if the show is still even on the air.
