Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

HEADS UP: NOT 3Z. DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP.

If anyone is looking to go make a custom...this seems oddly professional for a K/O sculpt...think something slipped out of the production line?

That looks fantastic.

this was made by kit's sculptor, at onesixthkit, very nice indeed....ordered

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

I would take a Michonne and Andrea from the finale of Season 2.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

Wooooo! Woooo!

This is not an update.

Does anyone know what the lowest price is to be found for the 2 Pet Walkers? BBTS has them for $90ea, but I thought I recall someone mentioning a better price a little while back.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

Yeah, but theyre sold out. :lol

The info was still valuable to me as a reminder of who had steeply discounted these guys, but yeah, I'd love to know about the lowest prices on in-stock items. ;)

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

That is the price I got them at :lol

They need a Michonne :impatient:

The deal was posted in this thread. That's when I got them as well. I didn't know they were sold out. They don't show up as being sold out unless you try to put them in your cart, which I didn't try.

They should have made these a three pack with Michonne at a good price. Been beat to death in here but as far as I'm concerned they are messing this line up with the snails pace it is going.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

The way the line is being handled is a **** joke. They have had it how long?

Star Ace has had the Potter license for one year. 10+ figures in that span.

ThreeZero hopefully can drop the license, that is the best thing they could ever do for this line.

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

In the time Star Ace has done 10 figures, Threezero has probably done 50 or 60.

They probably have, but out of those 50-60 figures a big old fat zero of them are unfortunately not Walking Dead. Walking Dead was the most watched TV show for the past few years, they get two pet walkers. It is boggles my mind why there are no new figures from this still. Within the next couple months would be a perfect time to debut figures with Fear TWD and TWD S6 starting up.

Is the owner of ThreeZero biased in his releases? Do they not value the North American market?

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

I think they value maximizing the amount of return they get from all the licenses they've paid for, so they have to produce first the licenses that have shorter durations, plus any other concerns that we're not in a position to know about. They've shown a lot of work in progress parts for TWD and have announced point blank multiple times (on FB) that Rick and Michonne will be the next characters released. They didn't say when that would be nor did they say if it would happen at the same time.

I like the show and I won' stop liking the show. I don't care if the figures are released today or one year from today as there's plenty of other things that are keeping my schedule full, including a number of other products from Threezero.

TWD is popular enough that it doesn't matter when figures are released, nor does it matter if the show went off the air tomorrow. There's no way they'd tackle every figure in the line anyway, so there's no point in worrying about missed opportunities - nothing's being missed except patience. ;)

Re: ThreeZero Toys: 1:6 AMC's The Walking Dead

I agree, no matter when these get made people will buy, same with the Potter figures. I will be buying every release.

I think the problem is, that everyone knows they have the license, then they make the pet walkers.... and then no one else. They really should have started with Rick or a Michonne.

Do you know how long they have the license for? Have ThreeZero ever mentioned it?,

No idea. Someone mentioned that other licenses were more time-sensitive, so they must have it for a while - maybe with the right of first refusal on renewal too.

My guess is that wasn't their choice - it doesn't make much sense and doesn't really match what they've been doing with other licenses. It's not like they releases White Walkers or Little Finger first for GoT, or Jesse's druggy friends for BB.

We've seen the following in various stages already:

Rick - two versions
Michonne
Daryl - two versions
Merle
Zombie girl

So you think they only could do walkers at first? Wouldn't the license work for all characters or would they need the actor to sign off?

No, I don't mean that. I mean that perhaps the pets were requested by AMC for their online store right away for example.
